BACKGROUND & PAST Madeline Ann is the middle child of Francis and Marilynn Chamberlain. Life wasn't that bad for the family. Francis had been a British soldier during the second World War before he met Marilynn and settled down, starting a family with her almost immediately. Having met in muggle London, he had no idea that she was a witch or even so much as her past, except that she was an only child; love was all that mattered, and after a brief courtship, they were married. Her brother Edward was born first in 1952, two years after the couple married. Madeline followed next, then the youngest boy was born in 1957. The family moved around quite a bit in the earlier years, but they finally settled Liverpool.

Her childhood was wide ranged; some afternoons she'd play football with her brothers in the local park, and other days she'd sit in her room and read. She did anything and everything. Learning excited her, books as well. She loved school in all forms, taking to many of the subjects quite quickly. Usually if something interested her, even at a young age, she'd pick up another book and further teach herself on that subject, which eventually had her excel in her classes and excel in learning as a whole.

From an early age she showed some signs of magical ability, which confused her father seeing as he didn't understand his wife's background. When one day Maddie made something blow up when she was seven, Marilynn sat her husband down and explained her past. At first Francis was pretty upset, not speaking to his wife for a few days, but after he cooled down, they talked rationally and realised that Maddie might have those same abilities. By the time she turned 11, it was true. Her letter arrived in the mail for her admission into Hogwarts. Once again, her parents sat down to have a talk about it. After many arguments and stern talks, the pair agreed to send Maddie to this school. If she had the ability, why not? It wasn't like they could keep her from what was her destiny. Immediately she was sorted into Ravenclaw.

By the time she was a fourth year, her eye had set upon Matthew Brocklehurst. He was older, in a different house and just everything she wanted in a guy. It didn't matter that she was very young, she wanted him. So on a whim, she asked him out, and at first he said no, but that didn't stop her. She kept asking him out until he said yes. And the rest was history; they dated all through her time in school, surprisingly remaining strong even though they weren't in school together any longer. Even though she was in love with him, when he first proposed to her on the day she left Hogwarts for good, she said no; she couldn't marry him. To her she thought marriage would ruin their relationship. Now the roles are reversed; he keeps asking her to marry him and she keeps saying no.

After leaving school, she got a job as a secretary in a muggle law firm, deciding that getting a job in the wizarding world was too much. She was happy just leading a simple life. In her spare time, she paints for herself. Her art isn't for anyone, but someday she'd like to sell some, just to see if others like her talent.

APPEARANCE Madeline would best be described as a hippy. Having left school right in the early 70s, she's still got some of that flair, thankfully having never fallen into disco. Her hair changes styles quite a bit, though the colour always remains a dark brown. She wears tie dyed tshirts that look like they are too big for her and long skirts that cover up the hemp sandals she wears all the time. Even though she looks like a bum, she can clean up nicely and wear clothes that actually fit her when the time arises. Her one main attribute on her is her boobs, which are pretty big but go well with the shape of her body. Hazel eyes and a short frame finish her up.

PERSONALITY Two words describe Maddie the best: sarcastic and witty. Having grown up with two brothers and no sisters really played a crucial part in her personality. Not many people understand her sense of humour, so it's easy to take offense towards it and even be insulted, which she really doesn't care about. She believes if no one can understand her and get that she is just joking around, then they are too stupid for her to explain her actions.

She can also be loud. As a sports lover, mainly football, she can be quite the cheerleader, whistling and screaming along with the other men, swearing when a bad call happens. She also isn't afraid to get down there and play with the other guys, getting just as dirty and muddy as they do. Sometimes she forgets she is a woman when she is around too many men and sports. With that, beer is usually her drink of choice. Her older brother used to get a hold of some when they were younger, so he taught her how to drink and keep up with the other men; Maddie knows how to drink and not get too badly hungover, plus keep her dignity.

But she can also be a girl, put aside her sarcastic humour and witty comebacks for some quiet time and easy conversation. The one thing that really defines her as a girl is her porcelain doll collection. Matthew is not a big fan of the collection, since he hates dolls, but she doesn't care; it's her thing and her collection, she's going to keep the damn things and pass them onto her daughter. And usually her doll collection is the start of most of their fights.

They fight almost all the time. They include, and are not limited to, fist fights, hitting, slapping, hair pulling, screaming, yelling. Basically they are hippies with very violent streaks. They both want to dominate, but only one can win, and they can't seem to give up and let the dominate one take over, which is why their fights end in hardcore, mind blowing sex. It's like porn star sex, but they love each other so much, that it's what they are and who they are with each other.
