Being a mother is something I cannot even begin to explain. It's not like anything else in this world. Nothing prepares you for it, but when it comes, it's there and everything just seems to fall into place. You may not want it but it's there. Almost losing both my life and Mandy's life made me realise that, yeah, it isn't so bad and in the end, I did want to have a baby with Matt. She's our one and only, no more babies from me. Even if I wanted another (one is more than enough, thank you), I couldn't. Like some rabid dog, I've been fixed.

But Mandy is a joy. A precious joy. She smiles a lot, makes giggling noises and loves to sleep on Daddy's chest while Mummy works about the house. My life is complete. I'm officially a sap, after being in a relationship for over a decade, I've become a sap.

And I swear, Mandy is Matthew's. Just because she has a head full of blonde hair doesn't mean anything! She is just... blonde. By a fluke. By mistake. How the hell did she come out blonde? Seriously?
