Personality/Likes & Dislikes:

Everyone has a tiny aggressive spark within them. Temari's spark is more like a forest fire. She keeps it well tucked away where it's important though, at work, school, around the right people. She has an overall sense of self-control, but that doesn't mean she won't let someone have it when they piss her off. At first sight, she comes off as a sensible (if not sometimes angry) person with a small chip on her shoulder and nice eyes. Beyond that she's a strong, independent, intelligent woman who knows how to get her way and will. The blonde stereotype? Ha. Even so much as mention it and you might as well get comfortable with the idea of having your teeth permanently imbedded in the back of your throat. Conversely, Temari has a strong set of morals. She will always help someone who really, really needs it. She's determined to make something truly good out of herself, to be the best, to excel at every obstacle thrown in her way, and to take care of those no one else will. It might have been being the only girl out of a family of men, but Temari has a firmly hidden maternal instinct. She may not have let it out directly back then, but she does project it onto young people she think may need it the most. But don't think you will ever get any sort of "feelings talk" out of her. Temari doesn't do that. She was raised in a family where feelings were something you kept damn well to yourself thank you very much, and she doesn't really "open up" as most girls are so wont to do. Then again, she really isn't like most girls. Temari likes to whale on punching bags until they rip apart, she likes to challenge herself to do better and always does. And, despite her looks, she is not an inherently sexual person. Sure, she enjoys it when the opportunity comes around, but lust, like feelings, is again something you need to keep to yourself.

First person writing sample:

Are you there, good luck? It's me, Temari. You're ignoring me again. I thought I told you not to do that.

Well thanks a lot, because now I have to buy all new textbooks and replace some kid's stupid twenty-dollar bookbag or get a lawsuit on my ass.

And it was so avoidable. I was just walking down the steps, minding my own business, when this stupid pre-law student starts whistling and laughing to his friends while I'm walking by.

Of course I couldn't just let him get away with it or anything, so I asked him what the hell he thought he was looking at.

Just the most beautiful woman in the world, he said.

I just rolled my eyes and kept walking because, of course, that's just the kind of calm and peaceful person I am. But the moron won't just let it be, and he starts following me with all his buddies trailing along and asking me questions like what's my major and where I was "shacking up" for the night. I tried to ignore him, really I did. Even when he fed me a cheesy line about my eyes, I still didn't hit him. That's how hard I was trying. But then the fucker grabbed my ass. Just freaking went to town and laughed about it with his little future-devil friends.

So is it really my fault what happened?

I grabbed his arm and twisted it (that sure got him all worked up) until I was all the way around and used it to force him down onto the grass (and a small section of the stone partition), ripped open his bag and emptied the contents all over his back. While that did make me feel a whole lot better, it did make me temporarily forget that this kid was a future lawyer. Which meant that there was a sixty-percent chance that one of his parents was a lawyer. Which turned out to be true. And his mother threatened to sue me silly for assault and battery if I didn't replace all the stuff that I damaged. All because you had to make the little fuck exist in the first place.

Thanks, fortune. Kindly bite me in the future.
