I forgot how hard it was to job hunt. I think that's why I ended up skipping it for a few weeks. Then weeks turned to months. I've been thinking of getting more training, joining up as an IT guy somewhere. I looked here but there's no openings so I suppose I might have to look elsewhere. It would be weird to leave this company, even if I haven't even been here a full year. Somehow, it's grown on me.

I think I would just miss the hamburger vending machine too much.

What sort of skills do you have already? And what have you been doing at this company? Just out of curiosity~

I'm a computer programmer. But right now I'm working as a lawyer's assistant and a bartender.

Well then you shouldn't have much of a problem right? I thought computer programmers were all the rage nowadays what with everything being so techy.

The problem is it's a who-you-know sort of business, since there are so many people out there with that career.

Maybe you can try to find some entry level positions just to make a name for yourself? Or just get the word out there. It might surprise you who might be able to help you find a future employer.

That is true. One should never limit their network solely to people with their same career interest. It's good to know all types.

Yup! So good luck! And posting a journal entry like this is a good first step, even if I doubt the bosses will be happy to see this. Creative way to quit though.
