For The Record: A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia. A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one. At least Mom seems to like her new comp. Though I could really use a nice, new game to test out my new rig. The fancy Age of Empires III boxed set I saw at Hastings Wednesday? Purty. The $80 price tag? Not purty...not purty at all.

I think I'll grab F.E.A.R. Or Serious Sam 2 at the post-Christmas sale. And an X-Fi, since the onboard sound on my mother's system sucked so hard that I disabled it and gave her my comp's SB Live! instead. If anyone cares to suggest some other possible games, feel free.
