All that turns out to be right on - no context for the money, and her literacy in English is almost non-existent. She has an education, and the basis for learning is there, but the words make even less sense written as spoken. As such, the explanations help - and it seems, though she doesn't keep up with Cindy and her orange-powered appetite, Saishu definitely eats like a warrior, from what, and how much, she shows interest in.
Likewise, she gets the knife right off, and the concept of the fork, if not its execution fits perfectly. Eating liquids in small amounts with the spoon rather than just drinking it takes a bit longer, but she gets the idea... even if there's not much finesse yet.
