Sebastian requests that they be started off with a garden salad, and takes a sip of white wine, when his eyebrow raises at her choice of drink.
"Living a little dangerously, aren't we, Grace?" Sebastian asks. Still, he doesn't stop the server from pouring Grace a glass of white wine.
"This will be our little secret, Grace." he winks and smiles.
He feigns sadness at her mention of his falling out with Emma. There was a time when Sebastian mourned the strain of his relationship with Emma Frost, but he'd quickly gotten over it. She was an old, used-up bag anyway, but she made good-looking children...even if they had different fathers.
"I regret that more than you'll know, Grace. Your mother and I really...understood each other, once upon a time. Somewhere along the way, though, she became someone I didn't recognize, and we parted ways. My deepest regret is that you and Christina paid for our falling out.
I don't have a great relationship with my own son, and you two are like the daughters I never had. My relationship with my grandson, Louis, is good. We're very much alike. You should meet him sometime." Sebastian says, taking another sip of his wine.
"How is Christina lately? I haven't heard from her in nearly a year. I miss her." he says.
