History: Ian Darnell is the oldest child and only son of Princess Caitria Curry of Atlantis and Tyler Darnell. While technically a prince of Atlantis himself, he prefers to leave his sister to handle most of the royal functions, as she seems to enjoy it, and prefers being a young super hero on the surface. He gets along reasonably well with his Atlantean relatives, but tends to try and sneak out of anything that seems vaguely courtly or official whenever he can.
He has been training to be a hero for as long as he can remember, and stayed with the Titans and his family on the surface at every opportunity. He has also worked hard on his self-discipline and focused on absolute control and mastery of his abilities, which he has somewhat acheived due to both his intense focus, and his philosophy of using his powers in moderation, breaking out the 'big guns' only when absolutely necessary.
He fancies himself as much a martial artist and martial-arts focused hero as anything, and despite a lot of this ability coming naturally through copying Vic Dragon's level of skill during Ian's younger years, he has spent the last three years in intense training to try and truly focus and master these abilities for real, not simply duplicate them. He has not acheived the chi mastery of some more tenured martial artists, but he's working towards that point. The rest of his powers, most of the time, are used in moderation as supplements to the martial arts focus - performing moves and techniques with superhuman attributes, such as speed, for example. He can, and will break out his full power when critically needed, but prefers not to.
Due to his meditative nature and focus, he has mostly mastered the Atlantean temper.
Abilities: Unlike his sister, Ian spent more time with the Teen Titans in his youth, and has largely copied the abilities that team had when he was young.
