Shane sat in the kitchen his head buried his arm crossed on the table. He just couldn't believe it. His mother had told him that she never wanted to see him again and that he should never come home. He never thought that those anti-mutant sentiments could get to her but somehow it finally did. Though words had hurt more than anything he had ever experienced before and he didn't know what to do about it.
