I have antibiotics! Yay! Hopefully, they will make my sinuses behave again soon.

I'm FINALLY seeing a doctor(ish) tomorrow. GP could see me today, but I have work. She didn't have anything else until Tuesday. Called my allergist who didn't have anything after today until Thursday, but his NP is free tomorrow, so I'll be seeing her before work tomorrow and hopefully getting some magic better-making drugs.

So freaking exhausted right now on top of the awesome headaches. And the fluid in my ears is making me nauseated/dizzy. Not a fan.

Could someone just wake me after Christmas when the busy season is done with and my sinuses are all better, please?

I'm just now getting around to seeing the new Harry Potter movie and OMGOSH!

I am really tired of my sinuses existing. Seriously. This head cold or whatever just needs to GTFO. It's zapped my motivation for pretty much everything lately.

On the up side, I did finally put up my Christmas tree tonight. I need to buy some more ornaments and stuff, though.

You know you feel like crap when you really don't even want to touch your computer.

Going back to bed now.

Even if you don't plan on joining, Crystal and I would really appreciate you helping us out on these apps so we can ensure they get a fair sort. It's had to know the sorting is accurate when each app has less than a dozen votes, particularly on the ones where the vote is divided.

You don't have to be a member of the community to vote on sorting applications! You don't even have to have an Insane Journal account! You can sign in from your LJ/DW/whatever with Open ID if you don't have an IJ and don't want to go through the trouble of making one.

For those of you who require some bribing, we have also made this pretty pretty sigtag. Everyone who votes on all the applications before 10pm tonight (EDT) will get one of these customized with their own name and house.

Y'all are going to get tired of my endless pimping, but I have some apps at Hogwarts Rising that need voting on. For those of you who need some clarification, hogwartsrising is a Harry Potter sorting community. Once you are sorted into one of the four houses (after filling out the application, posting it and having other people vote on it), there will be contests and activities that you can do in exchange for house points. We'll be getting those activities, etc, going once we have some members and (just as importantly) some people to help us run them.

For now, though, we encourage you to fill out an application. Where do you belong?

There's been a little talk on my flist over the past few months about how it's a little cool and a little sad that hogwartsishome is the only HP Sorting Community left. Everywhere else has closed up. It made me feel a little nostalgic, too. I can remember a time when sorting communities were extremely popular and it's sad to think there's only one left.

It's also made me vaguely toy with re-creating hogwarts_rising. I won't go into the drama surrounding my departure from that one, but I did enjoy running it while I had it. So I may have registered hogwartsrising at Insane Journal. I'm debating about whether I want to do it there (considering that I think most of the people who would join are on LJ) or on LJ (where I'd need to purchase 35757623 rename tokens or choose new journal names).

I'm curious about other people's thoughts on this. If I re-created Hogwarts Rising, would you join? Do you have a preference for journal site? I've already got a lot of ideas and things that I think could be a lot of fun, but I don't think there'd be much point if no one would join. :P

Maybe I just want to have an excuse to get sorted again, because I love being sorted.

Can this week please be over now? It's been so hectic that I've barely touched my computer in the past few days and I have RP to catch up on not to mention HIH things. Also, sleep. I feel like I could sleep for a really long time if I could just not have to be at work for long enough.

Alas, tomorrow is allergy testing, which will be oh so much fun (note the sarcasm there). At least I have the day off, though. It feels like the last one was a lot longer ago than Wednesday.

And having less than 12 hours before leaving work and having to be back fails so hard.

Need. Coffee. Stat.

I did not leave work until after midnight. I did not get home until nearly 1am.

FML.
