Okay so. Appropriate icon is appropriate. I can't search for a job every hour that I'm awake (though I've been making sure to dedicate at least a few hours to it every day that I don't have something specifically planned). Which means that summer is INCREDIBLY FREAKING BORING WITHOUT SCHOOL. So then I saw [info]powerpuff and her epic adventures in the land of watching anime/other things to watch and decided to be a copycat and ask the same thing. I only want COMPLETED series though, as if it's a current series and not on my "watching" list, I'm probably watched an episode of it and decided I didn't want to watch more.

This will probably help with my interests--> http://myanimelist.net/animelist/wishmatrix

As for liveaction fiction, my favorite shows are Doctor Who, Buffy, Heroes, Scrubs, House (only the like... first 3 seasons or so though), Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Otomen, Gokusen, Akihabara@DEEP, Queer as Folk, uh... I'm sure there's more I'm blanking on right now.

Also, I will watch things that suck to the point that they're funny (Uraboku as an example-- you'll notice that it's rated at 3 and it's still on my "watching" list. XD)

Uhhh~ Don't suggest any movies. I have issues with getting ahold of movies because I don't like watching movies on my laptop. Like, at all. Idfk why. It's the same with manga, I like reading it in a book a million times better than reading it online. IMO. ANYWAY. Yeah! Gimme your best shot! :D And you can re-suggest things on my "plan to watch" list if you really wanna reinforce that I really should get to watching something.

Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients
Dark Chocolate- 11oz
Heavy Cream- 3.5oz
Butter (soft, unsalted)- 3.5oz
Liquor (for flavor)- 1oz

Procedure
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. In a separate pot, bring the heavy cream to a boil. The second it start boiling, pour it over the chocolate. Gently mix the butter into the chocolate-cream mixture. Mix the alcohol into the chocolate-cream-butter mixture. Let the "ganache" cool completely to room temperature, then scoop into a pastry bag or small ice cream scoop to make small balls of the ganache and freeze completely. Roll the frozen truffles in melted chocolate. Before the chocolate sets, dip the truffles in Cocoa Powder, Powdered Sugar, or Toasted Almonds. Let chocolate set, and enjoy!

Fun Fact
The origin of the term "ganache" is actually based on a man's name, according to legend. While melting chocolate, a French man named Ganache accidentally spilled heavy cream into it. His boss screamed "Ganache!" at him, and after some effort to adjust the taste, chocolate ganache was invented. Or so said my chocolate teacher.

I see that on your "plan to watch" list you have both Jigoku Shoujo and Rose of Versailles! JS is amazing, if you have patience for repetition. I've only seen one episode of Rose of Versailles so far but I definitely recommend it! :3

Repetition like... monster-of-the-day repetition or the exact same thing every episode repetition? And yay, Rose of Versailles! I think the only reason I was putting off watching that was because of how long it is. I'll get to trying both of them though! :D

Repetition like same thing every episode, except for the last 3 or 4 episodes of each season (there are 3 seasons). Watch the first two or three episodes, and if you get tired of the show's formula I don't think you'll want to finish the rest. XD It's a great anime, but it's definitely not for everyone.

Really, Rose of Versailles is long? I thought it was only around 40 episodes. :o

Ahh. Well, I'll try it and we'll find out if it ends up on 'completed' or 'dropped.' ^_^;

40 episodes is a little long for my attention span. ==; I can watch things longer while they're being released, but I like to watch entire shows overnight and 40 episodes are hard to do that with... (25ish episodes is a good length for me, personally, but that doesn't mean I won't watch it if it's longer or shorter xD; it'll just take me a while to get up to watching it!)
