- November: Birth → Nearly fatal for both him and his mother
- December: Arrives home from hospital → Cheryl Ackerly is told she can no longer have children

- March: Christening
- December: First display of magical talent → While ill with colic, causes his musical mobile to start playing on its own in the middle of the night
1963
- July: Family visited by Wizard-Muggle Relations Authority → Drama ensues as Geoffrey Ackerly verbally banishes them from the Ackerly home but is stunned by a Hitwizard before he can phone the police
1969
- June: Ackerly family visits the wizard world for the first time
- August: Jonas leaves for Hogwarts
- November: 9th birthday → Gifted a small guitar by his grandparents
