A short walk from our flat is a statue of Mohatma Gandhi, and it is worn from all of the years of sitting there, staring out from his perch in Tavistock Square, looking at a very normal street that then leads past him into the heart of Bloombury, the little Italian restaurant where my mum and I go when she's had a bad day and can't bring herself to cook, since they have these big breadsticks that she likes to dip in alfredo sauce and I can get her to laugh by wiggling it by my lips like it's a cigar, and I'm Groucho Marx, and then it goes past the turn for the little news stand next to the Russell Square station, which is on the Blue line. Or you can go the other way, up the street, and it will take you to Euston, the huge station, where you can grab the brown line, which takes you right to Charing Cross which I use to go to see Parliament, and I love to sit in on PM's Question Hour and watch all of the MPs yell at each other in the name of the Crown, but what I love best of all is to sit outside of Parliament and watch Big Ben, waiting for the chimes to strike, and I'll sit out and wait for a whole half-hour, because something that beautiful, the way those bells ring through all the city if you just listen, it just begs you to bear witness, and not just once, because beauty should never be a one time thing, just as joy should be everlasting, like ripples in an ocean, that eventually evaporate, but not until it has shook its way through every atom and changing it with the experience of being so utterly perfect, if only for a moment.
I love being home.

I don't understand why more people don't spend time in the greenhouse! Right now, there is the most lovely growth of honking daisies right now and they are like a gigantic symphony! I'm trying to get them to play like a bass drum along with my singing. Like: they keep the rhythm, and that lets me sing! And the flutterby bushes, they are like maracas. And that makes the fanged geraniums happy, they become quite lovely when there is music around, which is one of the secrets that you just have to learn, but I am happy to pass that along, especially if that's on the exams this week! I wish we had puffapods, though, I have been asking Professor Sprout to plant some, and she is such a dearest, she said that I could after the holiday if I wanted to, and I do! I know that divination is my gift, and I love Seeing, I do, but Seeing takes so much energy and focus, but the plants, they can just be fun and wonderful and just delightful in every inch of the greenhouse without me having to connect with the Inner Eye. Even Venomous Tentacula is wonderful! You just have to respect it and show it that you care for it, and it seems to know! Aren't plants just divine? Like people! You just have to give them love!
Best of luck on exams!
