~~Really?~~ Thanks. That really means a lot to me. I just, I'm feeling really alone and like I don't fit in anywhere and no one cares. I work really hard and I feel like... I don't know. I have work and now Leslie is being herself x 10 and I'm arguing with Melia and I was having some girl trouble because I thought this girl wanted to move in the direction of like a relationship and now she says no and people have been giving me a hard time that I don't have a life and then I feel bad that I'm whining about it because there are people with worse problems than me. I'm just overwhelmed and I feel like nobody cares about me, like the actual me. People say they're you're friends and they're really not. They're like nice to you when you bump into each other at school but they're not really there for you, you know? I don't know what to do about it, or what to do about how I feel and all the stuff I sort of keep buried and hide away from everyone else. Usually when this happens I just disappear for a while, but I don't want to just disappear any more. I'm tired of being the one that nobody remembers and I just want to feel like I'm important or special to someone.

Sorry to just like word vomit. I'm a little overwhelmed.

I think it's great that you work so hard. Really. And I know Leslie is upset about you grounding her, but I think she's really lucky to have you looking out for her. Not everyone has someone who cares about them like that, you know?

I don't know if I have any great and meaningful advice to give you, but I think you're pretty great and I bet if you let people get to know you, they'd think so, too. I know you work a lot and you have a lot of responsibility, but you have to take time for yourself once in awhile, too.

I don't have all the answers, Josh, but I don't think nobody remembers you. I like you and I'm glad we're friends and I really don't think I'm alone in that.

Just hearing that you care about me means a lot to me because I feel alone a lot. Like people don't see me. I mean even with you I thought you were just being nice because I thought you were... nice? I don't know. I just keep people at arm's length because I have a lot going on behind the scenes I guess and I don't want someone to get close and then for me to get hurt. You know what I mean?

I think you're a really great person, Dari. I've always considered you my friend I just didn't think I was yours, too. It means a lot to me to hear you say that. It means a lot to me that you offered to take me to lunch and just listen. That you care.

It's scary to get close and let people in, but I think it's worth it. And I guess I am nice. Life's too short to waste it being all mean and hateful, you know? I mean, nothing is perfect, but you have to make the most of what you have.

That means a lot to me, that you don't think I'm insignificant. I mean I know how I am, and I'm ok with that. I'm ok with being responsible and silly, but sometimes it'd just be nice if there was one other person to appreciate that.

You're way more than nice. I've been feeling awful and you're the only one that's made me feel better today. Thank you.

And you better take me up on it. Leslie and Tallie call it my cave because I keep the lights low and sit in here and read or play video games or whatever. They sneak out of the house to come hang out in my room all the time. You should definitely come hang out with me sometime. I would like that a lot. And I really like that we had this talk. Shrug. What sort of big brother would i be if i didn't mess with you and make it hard for you? I know how you two are. You think I am that stupid that I didn't think duh, she hangs with Tallie all the time telling her she can only go out if she stays with her is not punishment? I told her she could not go out unless it was with you and she stayed with you so do what you want out just she has to be with you when you get back, and she knows that. Ha! Good luck with trying to reel her in once she is out.

It's your choice. Just extending the offer. And yeah she is pissed, she should have known better than to have a guy in her room like that. There's no privacy in our house. You could tell her josh paid me $400 to ditch you AND said i didnt have a curfew the next two weeks.
