StoryJoachim was the heir to a noble family when he met Walter Bernhard. Spellbound by the promises that Walter made, he was sired and began working alongside the elder to find both the Crimson and Ebony stones in order to bring forth eternal night. However, the closer they came, the more distant and power-hungry Walter became. Not long after their initial affair, an altercation ensued that led to Joachim's imprisonment in the Dark Palace of Waterfalls. His nourishment would be delivered daily, though he became so consumed with the idea of revenge that he rarely hungered. Eventually, he found a way out and made his way to the Throne Room, where he killed Walter and defeated Death, taking full control of the Castle and it's inhabitants.
