Been getting some really unusual music lately. Oddly I can stand it too haha. Brokencyde's new album is pretty hilarious. I made myself a ringtone from the Freaxxx song lol. I told Abby she could pick any one song and I'd make it into a ringtone for her when she calls me.

Friday I hung out with her. We went to her house, just chilled out, watched some movies, went for a walk. Saturday I finished up my final for Nutrition class, ended up getting a 94 on it and an A in the class overall. Quite happy with that. Then I met up with her around 12 and we went to her house, did some things to get ready for her party, took a nap, took a walk, watched some movies, then people started showing up around 5 or so...had a ton of fun at the party. I beat Bethany 21 to 4 in badminton. We did some four-wheeling which was badass, but we didn't get as dirty and muddy as I had wanted too lol. Bonfire was awesome, Abby and I laid out a tarp and watched the stars for a bit after everyone left, then we huddled close to the fire since it was kind of cold.

Sunday, we went and saw Transformers 2 which was pretty badass. That was too be expected though. Storyline, was eh...nothing to awesome...at least the movie was badass...after that we did chores at the barn and then went out to get some ice cream.

Today I spent finishing the add new customer bit on the DVD Rental script I'm working on. Also started in on the search feature which is pretty much complete. This week I'd like to accomplish finishing the edit customer part.

After I finished coding, I went to the barn to get my chores done. Then I went and Abby made me some pizza which ended up awesome. Definitely hit the spot and of course seeing her was awesome. Then I came home, and I've been playing a little Xbox since. I got a new free costume for LittleBigPlanet. It's the summer solstice one. I really want to get Killzone 2 for my PS3. We'll see, there's so many other things on the list. Haha.

Tomorrow, it's back to UVM. Ick. But whatever, it's money. I start my Japanese class in a couple weeks, I am pretty psyched for that. I need to write a letter to HR telling them what a fuck up my boss is. It's fucking ridiculous. :) Maybe I'll just move to Boston and work at the Apple Store. Who knows...Apparently Steve Jobs is back at Apple, he looks decent. Maybe he was secretly working on that tablet I so desperately want :)

I found out tonight that you can make ringtones in Garageband and since GarageBand can import songs I just used that instead of purchasing the song over again. So I made one from Brokencyde, Attack Attack! and This Romantic Tragedy. I'm loving it!

Haven't been riding as much because it's either been raining, or I've just wanted to come home and work on some web projects and things...or because Cub is lame which means Abby and I can't ride together...which has been quite fun the 4-5 times we've done so.

Only have to work tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday! Yay for Friday off, I am hoping Abby can spend the night on Friday, that would be most excellent. If not, I am sure she'll stay pretty late into the morning hours :)

 Sorry for not updating very much lately haha. Twitter is so much easier to use then having to find time to sit down and actually write something.

I've been riding a lot lately. Trying to get my horse into decent shape. At my departments retreat a couple weeks ago, I caught up with one of the ladies who works with us and she was talking about this like 3-4 day long trail ride that happens and said I should come, but that my horse would need to be in pretty good shape since it's all kinds of crazy terrain...so I don't know if I'll go but I know that both my horse and I need to be in good shape overall :) So I've been trying to ride as often as I can when I'm not completely dead from work and such. Abby and I have been going together a lot which is really nice. It's really great to have someone to just ride around with. We've been doing ring-work, and just riding out on the roads and in the fields. Tons of fun.

I guess we're dating now? Boyfriend/girlfriend, I don't know, maybe?! Hahaha. It really makes no difference to me, I guess it matters to her though, a girl thing? Who knows...

We went out to dinner with her sister and husband the other night which was really nice. I like them both, great people. We've been spending a lot of time together haha. I can't believe she hasn't gotten sick of me yet. She made me these amazingly delicious rice crispy treats too, love love love!! She totally doesn't seem to care that I have assault rifles either, I think this could be the beginning of an amazing relationship haha

Well, I've got at least 1 consulting appointment this morning, then probably getting lunch with my mom, need to get some pricing and set an appointment to get a fuck ton of things fixed on my car. Then I might have another appointment. We just put together a proposal to write an application for renting DVDs. It should be a fun learning experience.

Friday, I got out of work early which was really nice. I convinced our HR person (well more like proved to her by showing her the UVM HR docs) that I didn't need to take my vacation time all in one week, but rathe rover a day that could be agreed upon by myself and her. So I left a couple hours early on Friday, and this coming week I'll be working 8:30am til 10:30am haha That's definitely badass. So I shipped a package via UPS, then I called up Emily to see if she wanted to catch a movie, unfortunately she couldn't so I ended up going alone. I saw Pixar's UP which I thought was fantastic. I'm definitely snagging that on Blu-Ray when it comes out. I also bought a digital picture frame for my Dad for father's day and his birthday. I don't understand why those shits are so expensive. It seriously probably costs $20 to manufacture...oh well. He'll like it which is all that matters.

Saturday, nothing really happened. Just hung out. Did my 043 Exam #1. Worked on a new black scheme for DeathNote.me. Although we're really not supposed to be using that as a base which sucks. Oh well. I'll work on something totally new and fresh when I get the chance.

Today, also not much else going on. Going to head to the barn in a while. Maybe later this evening. I feel so lazy lately haha. Tomorrow, I've got 2 consulting appointments. Then we're going out to dinner for my Dads birthday. Should be nice.

I am hoping to get a little Japanese studying in today. I also noticed you can download dating sims from JLIST so I might try one haha. It's like $30 on avaerage for a game, so why not lol. I'd also like to do a little reading today...also need to figure out what I can have for lunch.

 Wow, today was amazing by any standards. I did wake up a bit later then usual, but it was okay. Woke up. worked on editing the Horse.13 project page. Removed emilie 's links since she's not really apart of the "family" anymore and added the Trac and Subversion sections. Then I chatted with a couple friends, took a shower and watched some Welcome to the NHK which is hilariously amazing. I really love this series! I've got the first manga in the series, but I sure as hell would love to collect them all :) I've never collected a full manga series, which makes me sad. I've love to get all the Death Note books along with Welcome to the NHK. Maybe Gunslinger Girl too and Couple, hehe I love them all!! :)

Call me weird or whatever...but I'd also like to try out one of those Japanese dating sim games, obviously the non-Hentai ones. Just to see what it's like...maybe I'll snag one of JList or something.

This afternoon I spent at the barn work my horse. We did some jumping which was fun...although the outdoor was a bit mushy...but we had an awesome time nonetheless. I uploaded a couple pictures of him to Facebook. I really want to get another DSLR camera, probably the Canon Digital Rebel XTi or the XSi. Both very amazing. I wish I had my Rebel XT...oh well.

The CPU and motherboard to the new server should be in this week. I'll be ordering the PSU whenever the final funds hit my bank account.

Talked to my farrier today. I'm probably going to install ZenCube or whatever that shopping cart/ecommerce software is called and we'll use that. I think it might be easier to integrate that into the site theme over something like OSCommerce.

Tonight, nothing is going on. Probably watching some more Welcome to the NHK. I probably forgot to mention that I got my "Death Note" in the mail the other week. It's awesome. The first pages contain the rules, the next page has a few names that Light wrote down and the next says "Lind L. Tailor and then some more names. Basically it's amazing!! Any Death Note fan should have one :) morgan  and I both got em.

I got a few new JDRAMAs, can't remember the names at the moment. I have so many things I need to watch haha. I think I would like to see Wolverine...has anyone seen it? Thoughts? How about that Star Trek movie? I've not really a Star Trek fan, but I heard it was kind of cool.

Oh yeah, I registered for Fundamentals of Nutrition and Japanese Communication, I am wicked psyched about taking them this summer!!!

It's pretty much been forever since I've updated. I've been insanely busy with about a billion things going on. So emilie  and I are pretty much done. I'm sick of her jerking me around and all of that bullshit. It's funny because now even her roommate is starting to dislike her. It's a common trend I am seeing with this girl, so it's a wonder that I hung around with her for 4 years. Pretty much everyone she comes in contact with her, she ends up lying and laying out all of her bullshit and they end up hating her. It's too bad. She used to be an amazing girl. If she'd just stop lying and being who she used to be (an amazing, cute, funny and wonderful person) then she might actually keep some of these people as friends. I don't get it...it's sad really because she really was amazing...but whatever. It's not my issue anymore. I've moved on and I am actively seeking out a new girlfriend, someone who's honest, caring and enjoy being with me because they like me.

There are so many other things I want to say about this girl, but I am not sure if it's worth my time haha

I applied for a job as a Linux Server Administrator at one of the local ISPs but I was too over-qualified and asking for too much money haha. I'm too smart for my own good, so while that kind of sucks (sucks because I love Linux/server administration) it's a good thing because I will now stay at UVM and I will probably be getting a degree in Equine Science and possibly Japanese communication which I am really excited about! It's going to be a lot of fun. I'm taking Japanese Communication and Fundamentals in Nutrition this summer, and I'll be taking probably another 2-3 classes this fall. Really awesome...

I've been working with morgan  to build our new server. 95% of it is out of pocket money which sucks, but we love doing it so it'll be worth it. Currently we've only got the RAID card, case, rails and the brackets for the PSU. The case is wicked sexy. I'll post some pics and stuff when we get more of the gear in.

I've been riding a lot, and my horse is showing it. He's getting nice and muscley(??) haha. He's looks amazing. I'll be riding again tomorrow night after work, so that'll be fun! And tomorrow is Friday, so that makes it even more fun!!

I've started watching Welcome to NHK, and I like it so far, although I've only seen one episode. I have a feeling it'll be some good fun :) I also finished Death Note, which I absolutely loved. Really awesome series :D Ryuk is hilarious! I really want to watch Resident Evil: Degeneration, I semi-watched it like a month or two ago, but I would really like to actually have time to pay attention and not watch it while doing 200 other things. Haha.

Not much else going on besides all that...today I'm just going home to relax. I might work on a bit of my Japanese stuff, but that's about it.

Been pretty busy lately, but then and again when haven't I. Sorry to people who I've not left comments for, I tried to leave some today.

I've been a little messed up lately, but not like seriously, just dealing with my feelings for <lj user="emilie">. I guess I don't know where we really are, I guess we're just friends, and stuff, and in reality I want it to be so much more, but I try to keep that bit of it inside me, because she's not ready for something like that yet, sometimes I don't know what she wants...although she's told me what she wants, it seems different when we're together.

She did get a new job, so I'm very proud of her, and she makes more then in her previous job so that's awesome. It sounds like she really likes it too, it's a job outside of the banking industry which is all she's known, she has some to learn. Which also sucks for me, because she spends all her time do that, which is understandable, I mean if I got a new job, I would be spending a lot of time learning about it, but if we were still living together at least I could wake up to her and fall asleep with her, in the situation we're in now, I can not do that, so it really sucks.

I don't know, things are obviously not how I'd like them to be, and I honestly don't know when and if they ever will be. I miss her more then anything in the world and it's killing me...so emo I know, but it's really how I feel. I literally cannot stop thinking about her and us, and blaaah. It's horrible.

Whatever...

Other shit I've been up to: working on a new web project which we launched on Friday. It's called Confessh.us and basically you can just submit confessions. http://confessh.us - we're still in beta, but we definitely want lots of people checking it out, using it and helping us squish some bugs! :)

Also been watching a lot of Death Note, maybe a bit too much cause I've been having dreams about it lately. It's a wicked awesome show though. I think next I might do Code Geass.

I've been cleaning up my airsoft guns and making sure they're in decent working condition. They all are for the most of it, next I've got to plan on which OPs I want to go to. There was one yesterday, but I didn't find out till yesterday, and there's one next week, but I'll be down in Massachusetts getting an iPhone replacement. So we're looking at probably going to an OP in Ghost Town on the weekend of the 25th (also my birthday weekend). It'll be awesome, of course, I've got to make sure Greg can do it as well.

Today, nothing really happening, watched some Death Note this morning, was awesome, but a bit sad. I won't say any spoilers :P I'm about to head out to the barn...

 Been a bit since I last updated. Many things have happened since. Last week was nothing unusual. It went by really quickly. There's been a lot to do at work, because one of the big projects at work finally got some more funding so they've been going full speed ahead and they've got a lot of web work for me to be doing. I usually tended to do things slowly or not at all, so there wouldn't be days where I wasn't working. But now it's pretty crazy. I've been working most days with zero breaks until the end of the day, or I'll work until 4:15 or so, and just leave for the day, rather do my lunch then haha. It works though, I'd rather just get a lot done, so I feel accomplished and then have a nice break or leave early.

emilie  and I hung out on Thursday. We've started playing World of Warcraft. We're humans on Turylon. I'm a mage and she's a paladin. We're definitely having fun with it. We sing the Billy Maclure song, mostly because we are questing in a mine (Jasperload and Fargo Deep) hehe. We're so silly. We both bought little cat pets too, to match the ones we have in real life :) I think we'll be shortly going to Westfall since we're pretty much done in Elwynn Forest. I'm having a blast with it. I could work on my 56 Orc but, I really just don't have time at the moment.

I've been watching Death Note too. It's fantastic! I really really love it! I think I might buy the manga at some point too. It's really really great stuff! :)

Today, not much happened, I watched some Death Note, and hung at the barn. I am going to be sponsoring one of my friends classes at the big Morgan horse show in Massachusetts this summer. That's really great, she's a really good rider.

Tonight, my plans are study Japanese and probably more Death Note, I really like how I am starting to understand some of the words written & spoken in anime, TV and movies. Hehe.

Had a really nice weekend. But before I go into that...

Thursday, I hung out with emilie It was our CSI night, of course it happened to be the NCAA basketball crap so we ended up watching Bedtime Stories instead. Funny movie.

On Friday, I got a bunch of work done, I had a quick meeting, rather almost consulting appointment in-which I got paid my normal shit pay to go over some really super basic OS X stuff, and then some questions about procedures and how things work at UVM. It only lasted about an hour which was really nice, because I had like 50 other things to do before my afternoon meeting. My afternoon meeting was lovely as usual. I really like my functional supervisor, she's awesome. I also like the guy who works with her, he's really great too. Very cool people...I wish I worked a lot closer with them rather then where I am now, but whatever. So Friday...night...nothing really special happened. I think I worked on some coding, but I really can't remember.

Saturday, I pretty much worked on the computer all afternoon, it was so nice out too, I worked outside with my MacBook. Then Emilie called and we got together. She was just going to come over to pickup the futon but we ended up umm yeah, well we also got some Chinese food and watched Ace Venture: When Nature Calls. We love that movie haha. So then I stayed up late after she left just working on a couple things.

Sunday, emilie and I met up in the AM and we drove up to Matusuri which is this Japanese Cultural Festival (which I assume they hold annually, but I am not sure). Got there, check things out, they had tons of cool things, paper crane folding, bonsai trees, fish rolling, food, tea ceremony, demos, martial arts, antiques, tons of things! Anime, DDR, manga, etc...We bought 3 packs of origami paper. Then we went out to lunch at the Asiana Noodle House. She really wanted to try it out since I had told her how amazing it was. So we ended up getting beef, udon, and a Japanese Soy broth. It was WICKED good haha. I love the stuff there. Then we came back to the house and started getting World of Warcraft installed on a couple computers so we could play. Of course it ended up that I needed to download like 4GBs worth of patches, so we just got that going and then I brought her back to her truck and we parted ways. I head to barn to get my chores done and she headed home. Didn't do too much that night, just relaxed.

Today, I woke up, finished up the Warcraft patches, and headed out to get my chores done at the barn. Then Emilie and I met up (she had another job interview this morning, which seemed to go well from what she told me) and grabbed some food from the general store. Came home and played like an hour or so of Warcraft. We went with humans, she's a paladin and I am a mage. We're on Turylon (I think that's the spelling haha). Then we kind of had a mini nap, and then she headed home.

So I guess the rest of the afternoon, I might practice some more paper cranes, maybe some Japanese, and then I might work on some coding and/or Dirty Jobs :)

Sunday, emilie  was sick so she didn't end up coming over. It was okay though cause she called me and we talked for a bit so that was nice. Then Monday I got her to help me with my car and picking it up from the repair place. I spent like $100 on repairs, and it needs another like$400-500. Uuugh, I think once I get that stuff done I'm definitely trading it in for a Subaru WRX. There's really no sense in me dropping more money into it.

I did have a consulting appointment on Monday today, which was before I got together with Emilie, but it was really easy and quick. Then we picked up my car, got lunch at Quiznos, then headed out to the barn. I took a couple photos of Nippet, she took a couple of me and I took a couple of her. We just had a fun time :) After that, we came back to the house, I let her work on her resume and get a couple copies printed off. Then we just hung for a little bit and then she was off.

Today, nothing special. I wanted to flash the Cisco switches with some new firmware, but didn't get to it. Maybe this weekend. Nothing special going on this week except Norma Jean and Underoath on Friday which is going to be amazing. Weekend not much going on, I'll probably end up hanging out with Emilie I would think.

Fairpoint sent me a bill this weekend, after I had cancelled my service like back in January...so I called them today, I think was on hold for like 30 minutes, sheesh. Finally got through and got it taken care of, apparently their bill processing is a bit behind, so even though the service was cancelled, the billing part of it wasn't, so they're going to get that taken care of.

Alright, well, I'm tired and I've got work in the AM, oh joy. Hahaha.

Hello everyone!

Today was rather a boring day at work. I had probably 2-3 hours of work, then I just kind of messed around on some websites and "profiled" them. I guess someone else can use it they know which each of the sites contains, rather then having to visit them and see for themselves, they can just refer to the things I am putting together. So yeah, eventually work came to an end. I ended up driving myself to work this morning. It was nice because I got to make myself breakfast this morning, and wake up a bit later then usual.

Got to chat with emilie a bit at work until her Internet died a few minutes later haha. Hrmm, so after work, I went to the barn, and met up with Emilie, was nice to see her there. She hasn't been in a long time, so it was cool. I also reminded Bethany that I would give her $100 if she got all A's. Em got to see Bethany's new horse too and the new pony, Suki. Then we both groomed Nippet. We pretty much made a mini-horse out of all the hair that he's shedding lol. It's that time of the year again haha.

Then we went out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, thai food. Was really good, we got our usual, but we tried the fried banana with coconut ice cream for dessert. We skipped appetizer so I think this was the first time we had dessert and it was good! Then we just walked around town for a little bit and then went our ways. I definitely had an amazing time with her. I really appreciate every minute I am with her. It's so great.

Tonight, nothing big planned, probably just watch a movie and pass out. Tomorrow isn't going to be anything special but I do have a bunch of work lined up. I think Emilie and I might get together on Sunday too, maybe go see Coraline or Watchmen. Anyone seen either? Good? Bad? Friday, nothing planned...but yeah, things are looking up. I'm falling in love...again... :)

I dunno if it's really post holidays, do people consider New Years/Eve part of the holidays?? I guess I do. I never do anything. Christmas was okay, I got a new WoW hoody to replace the one that I had which is got a buncha holes (I still love it and plan to wear it though). Not much else though, and I really don't care. I hate Christmas. I hate getting and giving presents. I attempt to make the day as regular as possible, but of course we've got to go to my parents and all, blah. It's not that things are terrible or miserable or there's fighting or there's something bad about the holiday. I just don't like it.

emilie and I watched some more BECK last night. I quite like that show! We tried to watch Neo-Tokyo, but I think I might end up watching that one myself. It's a bit, not like the normal anime we watch. We also watched some of the new Bam Margera movie, hilarious as usual. I actually will probably finish it up after this entry. I'm also planning on picking out another anime series to watch on my iPod (when I'm on the bus and all).

Nothing going on tonight at all, just the way I like it. I might play some Call of Duty 4 or something, maybe loop again.

Not much else is new. I'm looking to get more work, whether it be at the University or consulting, but I think I might have to pick one or the other, and real soon. I've thought about doing a lot of things lately, such as returning to Wentworth, going to Japan, going into the Army or possibly the Airforce...I really have no idea...I might even sell my horse haha, I really don't know!

One thing I do know is that I am hungry :D I think I shall have some lunch! Yum!

 This week went by so quickly. I feel like I just got out of the SF & DGD show last Saturday. Been really busy at work as usual. I haven't been doing much consulting at all lately. I might have an appointment on Monday, but who knows, depends on whether or not I feel like it I guess. I've been sick, I think I caught it from a certain someone, blech! Oh well, I think I am actually starting to feel better, it feels like it's just in my head now. Nothing that some medicine and tea can't fix.

I've got a bunch of new games, so I've got to update the master list. I am thinking about just ex-ing off a bunch that I know I will never touch again. I played some Crisis Core this morning, was fun. I really do like that game, I actually might boot it back up once I finish this entry. So emilie is going to be gone for pretty much all of the next week which means I'll be alone here at the apartment all week! I don't know if I'll be able to figure out what to do!

I almost bought the WALL-E DVD today, but then I figured if I am actually going to buy a movie that it might as well as be on Blu-ray. Especially a movie like that.

Been talking to this guy (raf ) who does a bunch of Scribbld's CSS, he's really cool. He became friends with morgan  and then I met him through her. Definitely a geek genius! Poor Morgan has been going through a lot lately, but I won't go into to much detail, I'll let her tell her own story if she wishes.

I'm really enjoying this backlit keyboard, I'm sitting here with music playing on AppleTV in the dark working on various computer projects and I can see my keyboard perfectly fine. I think it would be really cool to pull it apart and replace the white lights with red or something, might even make it better on the eyes in the dark.

A lot of kids (okay 3 but in like the span of 2 weeks) having been dying at the University, it's definitely a little sketchy and it sucks. I don't/didn't know of any of them personally. Also my friends boyfriends brother died this past week so that was definitely not fun. I believe he was a grade above me in high school, I didn't really know him, or was friends with him, but it's pretty close to me...not sure I have much else to say about that subject.

I played some Resistance this afternoon. Definitely a fun game and it's just got a really good amount of difficulty to it, where I can stand it and it's not too easy and not too hard. Really well done, I definitely want to get the 2nd game.

I am really digging the NXE. Morgan and I share an account so it kind of sucks we can't have 2 avatars/characters, but that's understandable, you're not really supposed to be sharing an account, but considering I log in every other week or something it made sense for us haha That and she had been working on a game back when we first got Xbox and she didn't create her own account or forgot to log into the one she created so now she doesn't want to loose those gamer points she accumulated haha. Go figure...now my character is some blonde haired chick...

I haven't really talked to makkintosshu or Keith in a few weeks, it kind of sucks, but it just goes to show you how crazy busy we all are. I haven't even played GoW2 with either of them, suck!

Tonight, I think Emilie and I are going to watch The Dark Knight and maybe WALL-E...maybe some BECK too. It's rather cold here, it started snowing like crazy today! Anyways, I think I'll jump into Crisis Core and attempt to figure out why PSP doesn't support WPA2 as an 802.11x encryption protocol...grrr....! 

morgan although broken wristed has worked very hard with me on updating the Scribbld code base to the latest version (as of yesterday). One new thing i really like is that it automagically snags the latest song from your Last.fm account and plug it into the update page and also the update page (rich text editor) now works in Safari 3/Webkit. I am very very happy with that. It only took us about 45 minutes to an hour to upgrade everything which was really nice.

I beat GoW2 over the weekend. It was a tremendously amazing game. I have a feeling I might play through it another time because I didn't do it with makkintosshu or Keith. I haven't really heard much from either of those guys lately.

Wrath of the Lich King comes out this week. I am excited, although I don't know why since our Warcraft server won't be updated for some time.

I've setup my new MacBook and I am thinking about returning it already because the color is absolutely horrible. I never thought I would be one to bitch about color issues but this is absolutely horrible. I might have to run through the calibration thing again...The whole display looks all washed out, the colors are sucky. My old black MacBook was much better then this. I do enjoy the backlit keyboard though. It also feels really nice when you're typing on it though.

So today, not much happened minus the database maintenance and code upgrade. I'll be heading to the barn in a bit. One of the horses/boarders that had been there for like 8 years left this weekend. Sucky! I might go riding today...depends on how I feel.

Hrmm, I just played with the brightness on the MacBook, colors are a bit better now...

I've been working on beating Resistance as the second game is either already out or very close to releasing (sometime this week). emilie and I have also been playing LittleBigPlanet which is a lot of fun.

Not much of anything else is going on. I am supposed to go out to lunch with a good friend from high school tomorrow, that should be fun.

Well this weekend was rather nice, but far to quick for me. I feel like I didn't get enough done even though I did get a lot done. On I worked a bunch on some Warcraft servers with morgan. Finally around 8pm or so we had them both up and running and in a usable format. We got ArcEmu and a Wrath of Lich King (based on Mangos) up and working. I must say the new Death Knight class looks really awesome, I think I've got some reading up about it to do though because I am not sure I fully understand how it works. I assume Wikipedia or WoWWiki could help me with that though.

Saturday emilie and I hung out for the morning, had a nice breakfast and probably watched a movie, I can't remember. Then she went to the friends and I had the apartment to myself for the entire afternoon and pretty much until 12am when she returned. I spent most of the day squashing Scribbld bugs and adding CSS into the site. I probably played some Call of Duty 4 in there also.

Sunday, emilie and I went up to Williston. We bought a new dish since ours was starting to get a little rusty. We also picked up a PS3 and Devil May Cry 4. I still have my other 2 games (Drake's Fortune & Resistance: Fall of Man). We pre-ordered LittleBigPlanet & World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King - Collector's Edition. LBP comes out next week, I cannot wait. I am trying to get Emilie to make me a nice Sackboy plushie. We'll see about that :)

I attempted to get Mac OS X Snow Leopard WWDC 08' Preview installed on my PowerBook but after looking at the Install PDF, I found out it required an Intel processor...I asked around on Twitter but I got mixed responses. Some said final would require Intel and others said G4/G5 would still be supported...and if that's the case why make the beta Intel only?! Weird. I definitely want to try it out, I would love to see something like a change log but the disc had no such file. maybe I can connect with one of the developers to see if there's such a file on the Apple developer site.

So I have a few things to say about the PS3. I used to have one of the original units. The more expensive model too. It had WiFi, Bluetooth, 4 USB ports (possibly more in the back, I cannot remember), and a decent card reader module. Now the model I just bought comes with 2 USB ports and no card reader module. I rarely used the card reader module but I have a bunch of extra flash (SD, MicroDrive, CF) now and I would love to be able to use them...

Is there only 1 PS3 model now, the 80GB for $399?? Or do they offer another model, maybe a 40GB?? Any idea why they dropped those features? It sucks. I did buy a 250GB drive and I got that installed. I love how easy Sony makes that, and it's super affordable (unlike some other console making company I know....cough cough Microsoft...). Either way, Emilie and I've been playing Pixel Junk Monsters, flOw and Super Rubber Ducky this evening. We're going to have SO much fun with LittleBigPlanet. I am so excited for that.

This afternoon when I went into Small Dog to snag that 250GB drive and a HDMI cable, I stopped in to see my best buddy, makkintosshu who is doing quite well. It's been a rather long time since I'd seen him, so we chatted, although brief, but yeah. I do miss the daily interactions with my buddies.

Tonight Emilie and I also watched WALL-E. I love that movie. I might buy it on Blu-Ray now that we've got the player.

I think I am going to head to bed now...

I just finished cleaning up the kitty poo area, their food area, the dishes and I also cleaned out our "relaxing waterfall thingy". I think I am done for now, hopefully emilie can do the rest tonight or tomorrow. I will probably end up vacuuming. I had an easy consulting appointment this morning at Canus, just a erase a hard drive and then they had some permissions issues I quickly fixed with one command :P

morgan sent me the new Rise Against album and it's pretty damn good. I can't stop listening to the new Anberlin either.

So I've got to work on Macintosh-Admin a little bit, I hope my cards come soon. Just checked on the UPS website -- doesn't look they're coming until the 7th, oh well, shipping was free. I've just got to remember to send them out to my vet, Mark and a couple to my dentist.

I also need to work on TheMangosResource and get some more content posted up there.

I'm still in works on getting a full time job at the University. It's looking very good though. I am having mixed thoughts about it all, as much as I love consulting, but I also like the benefits and being able to take classes for free and all (can anyone says tons of Japanese classes and equine classes?!). I'll probably follow through with it.

Hrmm, not much else to say at the moment, I am looking to get back into World of Warcraft, not sure if I'll go official or not. We do have our own server (anyone can use it!)...so we'll see.

Been incredibly busy with working at UVM and working on various other projects AND the consulting business. It's been ridiculous over the last 2-3 weeks or so, and I really don't see things slowing down. It's nice to be busy, but I am not used to it at this level!

In what free time I have I've been actually playing and not working (which is what I usually do). Haven't worked on Scribbld, no work on any websites really as of late. It does suck a little bit, but I just don't have the energy or attention span to do such work...I've been playing a lot of Spore though! I think the Galactic Edition was well worth my money. I am going to watch the making of and the National Geographic video too. The art book included is quite amazing, I really like it. I also noticed that Spore has teamed up with a few services (like a t-shirt place) so you can bring your creations of the screen and stuff. I really hope they add the ability to send in your creature and they made a plastic model/toy from it and mail it to you. I would GLADY play like $20 or something per figurine. WICKED COOL.

Umm, what else...not much else is new, I keep meaning to get my tack cleaned up, which I've not done yet...STILL. I plan on getting it done by at least Sunday so I can go riding that day. Been working at the barn too, 3 day a week, so yeah it's been super busy to say the least.

Today was a rather uneventful day. I did get to configure an iPod touch with a Cisco VPN, rather interesting. It's nice to know that now the 2.0 software does support Cisco VPN IPSec stuff. Other then that, nothing to wonderful happened. I finally remembered to bring home my saddle & bridle so that I could clean it. Hopefully I can do that either Friday or this weekend sometime.

Tomorrow at work we've got no work, but rather some wellness thing we need to attend. I don't think I shall complain as I am getting paid to not work, sounds good. I think emilie is going to come and pick me up too, which is going to be awesome. Today there were absolutely no seats on the bus on the way up to work.

After work, I did work at the barn, was nice seeing my horse. Apparently they had some hail there, but he didn't mind it, I guess the skimpy fly sheet worked for even that. The other horses, were like, "ahhhh!! what's this stuff hitting me!!". LOL.

Anyways, as the subject of this entry mentions, SPORE! I did get my hands on a copy, and yes I've been playing it since about 8pm this evening. It's an amazing game, I think I shall definitely purchase the Galactic Edition as this game definitely deserves my $50 or whatever. Emilie loves it to, we're definitely going to make some awesome stuff.

I finally got the Xserve rebuilt, my MacBook and Emilie's MacBook rebuilt. Everything but that Cisco switch has been fixed. At some point either on Friday or this weekend, I've got work on that Xserve for Keith and I's consulting appointment next weekend.

Hrmm, so Emilie and I are going to watch a movie now!

I knew that Miyazaki had been working on a new film although I'd heard that Howl's Moving Castle was his last (thank god it's not!). Here's a trailer for it! Definitely looks awesome, I can't wait to see it.

I've been pretty busy lately, consulting and working at the barn. I suppose I should actually go and do that now before the weather turns to complete ass.

Been watching a bunch of Doug and Rocko's Modern Life. I beat Grand Theft Auto IV, definitely a fun game, the first GTA I've beaten although I am trying to beat III on my PSP. I broke out Final Fantasy III also, finally got through that Nepto's Dungeon area. A good game!

I've got a bunch of consulting appointments scheduled between this week and next. I've got to call Keith and see if he got the Apple job.

Not much else to say at the moment, I just want to go to the barn and do some work and see the horses, so I'll write later!
