It's quite late here, I don't know why I am still awake....

Worked on the movie rental application some more today. We've got a new feature going which shows the customers rental history. Pretty easy to create. Did a couple bug fixes and stuff. Brought out the AR-15 today, that was awesome, I love it so much.

Also called Apple back in Burlington, MA. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be working there because they don't offer full time specialist jobs at the moment, and that's the only openings they've got at the moment. Oh well, maybe something else will come up.

I've added 2 new modules to SceneJournal so that I can crosspost to both DeathNote and Scribbld...tested and working. I'm pretty psyched to move to SceneJournal as my main. Although, I'm not too happy with the amount of themes offered. Oh well...

Tomorrow, not much is happening. Probably going to work on the movie rental application some. I think Morgan and I have agreed that this movie application is the last of our ventures into geekery. We'll be cutting back on a lot of it, so we can focus on other things going on in our lives. Scribbld, SceneJournal, DeathNote will continue to run, but not much work will be done on them. As mentioned we'll continue to support them as best we can and with what time we have but since they're not really paying jobs, not much effort will be put into them. Of course they'll run! How else can we document our lives and read about yours! :)

Ok, it's like 3am. I should probably get some sleep so I can wake up at a semi-decent hour tomorrow :) I really want to buckle down and study Japanese at some point.

 Well, things are coming along...I've been really busy trying to work when the power isn't out...when it is out, then I'm completely lost haha. The DVD application is really coming along. At the moment, the base core code is complete and now it's just adding in final tweaks and bug fixes which is relatively easy. It definitely challenges my logic though because you've really got to think about what the program and code is doing and how to make it do exactly what you want :)

Employment-wise I've got a couple things going on. I was supposed to fly out to Texas tomorrow to meet up with some people for a potential job, but they didn't get my airplane tickets and hotel lined up yet...so it looks like it might be next week instead. That's okay though...Although I really have no idea what I'll be doing this week. Probably working on that DVD application but you can only do that for so long. I'll probably try to spend as much time with my horse as I can, seeing as how I'll likely need to sell him with whatever new job I get since it'll likely not be located here in Vermont.

Yesterday, Abby made and brought me some pizza, it was definitely amazing! :) Then we watched some TV and then she had to get some barn chores done.

I believe once I am done with this entry, I'll be heading out to the barn myself. Today's my last day of chores, so it'll be the last stalls I muck for quite some time :) I'm quite happy about that :)

Tonight, not sure what's going on, I'd love to go out to dinner and a movie, dinner is doable, movie not so much since there's nothing decent in theatres. We'll see...I definitely want to just relax, no code, no servers, no nothing tonight, just have fun and relax :)

 Wow, it's been a little crazy here! I've probably gotten about 3 hours of sleep in the last 3 days or so. Been dealing with server/hardware issues like crazy! I'm am almost at the point where if there's any sign of lightning or thunderstorms that I'm just going to shutdown all the servers and network gear. It totally sucks, but it's what I have to deal with now since we're really not setup to handle such things. I do wish I had all this stuff in a nice fancy data center. Unfortunately, I'm just a poor, struggling server/network administrator with not enough funds to purchase other equipment to protect what we've got, so it'll have to do...

Anyways, basically, we lost one hard drive and 2 power supply units. We need to purchase a new internal and external drive for one of the servers, and I'll be hopefully getting new PSUs under warranty (cross your fingers). The two new hard drives will probably run about $250 total which isn't too bad, I just don't have the money for it at the moment.

Let's see, I'll be stopping my personal use of Scribbld soon. I say this because I'm likely going to be starting a new chapter in my life, about 2,000 miles away from where I live now. It's all really exciting, nothing is 100% final, but I am really looking forward to it. I'll obviously leak out more details an information as things get finalized. Either way, I plan on switching to SceneJournal.net which is my first journaling site/service that I created back in 2004. We've just re-purchased the domain and rebuilt it using the Dreamwidth code-base. It was kind of a tough decision because while the LiveJournal code-base has always been there for us and all, and includes the S1 and S2 (many more at least) theme engines, the Dreamwidth code-base is really on the front of getting things fixed and creating some new cool features. I do not plan on open SJ to the public, it's really just intended to be used by me and some close friends, although invite codes are available through purchase. I don't see many people purchasing an account through. Scribbld & DeathNote will remain as is, and we'll continue supporting them as we have :)

Tonight I plan on watching some Japanese movies, eating some pizza and passing out! :) I hope everyone has had a really nice weekend!! :) Today was my Mom's and my friend, Bethany's birthdays. We had a nice little party at Bethany's last night, good times.

Wow, so I guess people understood where I was going with my long winded post yesterday. Thanks <3 It's those people who allow me to say without a doubt that I really enjoy Scribbld and the work I put into it.

That said...today was nice. I just spent the day up at the Davis Center on campus. I mainly worked on everything that I wasn't supposed to but whatever. I had planned to work a lot on that DVD Rental script, but I kept finding other things to work on. I actually looked for a couple new jobs and applied to a couple places. We'll see how that all turns out. I actually already have an interview setup for tomorrow so I am pretty psyched about that!

This evening I didn't do anything to special, played a little Xbox, and by little I mean maybe 15 minutes if that. I studied some Japanese, OH we upgraded our Internet line to 12Mbit down which is awesome, I've been able to hit about 9Mbits so far...I do wish the up was a lot better, I might email them and be like, I know you guys can handle at least 5/5 so comon! Sure would help me out a lot. I have a feeling if it doesn't go faster I'll be going back to what we originally had. Not worth the extra $15 a month to me at least, especially if the upload speed is staying the same.

In the last 24 hours our new SQL server has handle 100+ million queries without ANY issues so I am VERY happy with it.

Tomorrow Abby is coming over in the morning and we're going to make/have breakfast together, I'm quite psyched about that. I then plan to work on that DVD Rental application during the day, and then I've got that phone interview in the afternoon. I would like to get to the barn to do a little riding if possible. Then Abby is coming over for the night so that'll be awesome.

I hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th of July! I would like personally take a second to thank the troops overseas who aren't able to be with us stateside at the moment. Thanks guys, your efforts and your jobs are appreciated. I won't say anymore then that for the moment, but seriously thanks!

Been spending tons of time with Abby, having a great time. I've been working a lot on my DVD Rental application, which is actually coming along quite well. I showed it Abby today, she thought it was pretty cool! :)

haven't been up to much else. I've been wanting to go riding, but I've just been so busy as of late, I haven't had time. I am going to ask Abby if she wants to go for a ride on Friday or something, pending that Cub is in an okay condition to be ridden.

Today, I hung out with Bethany a little at the barn while we both did chores. She's a pleasure to be with, quite the fun/funny girl. After that I went to the store and hung with Abby. Sara, Scott and Abby's Mom were there so it was nice to see them all. Poor Abby was all stressed out about everything going on :( I'm sure she'll be fine though. Came home, had a nice dinner...Kat helped me with my resume and now it's ready for pimpin'! I am psyched. I've gotta do something nice for her, cause she really helped me out big time on this.

Tomorrow, I'll just be working on the DVD Rental application. Nothing is else is really planned.

That said, I would like to talk about Scribbld a little bit. I did talk about it in the latest news posting, but I feel like I need to say stuff about it here too. Scribbld was originally designed with 2 people in mind, myself and my now ex-girlfriend. I never planned on having other people sign up and use this site, server, resources at all! It was crazy because in like 3 days, it exploded and I was running around like crazy, purchasing new servers, multiple IPs, and redesigning my entire network to make sure that things were relatively stable. Mind you, I'm learning an insane amount of things about Perl, PHP, web development, server and network administration so this is totally awesome. Unfortunately, totally awesome doesn't pay all the bills, but, there were some EXTREMELY generous users out there, and we collected tons of money which of course went all back into Scribbld! Now, that's cool with me, but at the same time, this has become almost like a job to me, and as a college student we all know most of them are pretty poor. Now, I wouldn't say I am, poor and broke, but having an extra couple dollars in your pocket to hit up a movie or whatever, yeah it's nice, and feels well earned after dropping thousands of dollars and countless hours into a website, not only by coding it but by supporting the users using it. Correct me if I'm wrong! I mean, if I am going to put this much time and effort into something, I feel like I deserve some sort of compensation, and I have gotten some, but not as much as like at this point.

So as I mentioned, I'll be laying off of Scribbld for a bit. We'll be cutting back on some account features, to ensure that we can properly scale with the amount of users we have, what those features will be I am not sure, but for people with free accounts, you can expect something to change. Maybe this is incentive for people to pay for a service they think is worth it, and if you do, then toss us a couple dollars. I know when I find a really awesome application or a wonder web service, I have no issues tossing them $10, because I know, it'll be supporting the people behind it and that's a really great thing.

Either way, the bottom line is I can't afford to really spend so much time on Scribbld, and it's definitely shown as of late. Both morgan  and I try to get to support questions as soon as we can, but we have real lives (paying jobs) that take priority over Scribbld. We try to keep the code base current (without breaking to many things) and try to stay on top of things happening on the site, but sometimes, it just takes a while. We appreciate every single member here, and every single Paid Account user, and we thank you very much for even using this site at all. It's an awesome learning experience, one that will surely benefit us.

I don't even know if this post makes sense, it's just all the thoughts about Scribbld and all this running around in my head and now on "paper". Take it for what you will :) Scribbld's not going anyways for sure though! xoxoxo

 Been getting some really unusual music lately. Oddly I can stand it too haha. Brokencyde's new album is pretty hilarious. I made myself a ringtone from the Freaxxx song lol. I told Abby she could pick any one song and I'd make it into a ringtone for her when she calls me.

Friday I hung out with her. We went to her house, just chilled out, watched some movies, went for a walk. Saturday I finished up my final for Nutrition class, ended up getting a 94 on it and an A in the class overall. Quite happy with that. Then I met up with her around 12 and we went to her house, did some things to get ready for her party, took a nap, took a walk, watched some movies, then people started showing up around 5 or so...had a ton of fun at the party. I beat Bethany 21 to 4 in badminton. We did some four-wheeling which was badass, but we didn't get as dirty and muddy as I had wanted too lol. Bonfire was awesome, Abby and I laid out a tarp and watched the stars for a bit after everyone left, then we huddled close to the fire since it was kind of cold.

Sunday, we went and saw Transformers 2 which was pretty badass. That was too be expected though. Storyline, was eh...nothing to awesome...at least the movie was badass...after that we did chores at the barn and then went out to get some ice cream.

Today I spent finishing the add new customer bit on the DVD Rental script I'm working on. Also started in on the search feature which is pretty much complete. This week I'd like to accomplish finishing the edit customer part.

After I finished coding, I went to the barn to get my chores done. Then I went and Abby made me some pizza which ended up awesome. Definitely hit the spot and of course seeing her was awesome. Then I came home, and I've been playing a little Xbox since. I got a new free costume for LittleBigPlanet. It's the summer solstice one. I really want to get Killzone 2 for my PS3. We'll see, there's so many other things on the list. Haha.

Tomorrow, it's back to UVM. Ick. But whatever, it's money. I start my Japanese class in a couple weeks, I am pretty psyched for that. I need to write a letter to HR telling them what a fuck up my boss is. It's fucking ridiculous. :) Maybe I'll just move to Boston and work at the Apple Store. Who knows...Apparently Steve Jobs is back at Apple, he looks decent. Maybe he was secretly working on that tablet I so desperately want :)

I found out tonight that you can make ringtones in Garageband and since GarageBand can import songs I just used that instead of purchasing the song over again. So I made one from Brokencyde, Attack Attack! and This Romantic Tragedy. I'm loving it!

Haven't been riding as much because it's either been raining, or I've just wanted to come home and work on some web projects and things...or because Cub is lame which means Abby and I can't ride together...which has been quite fun the 4-5 times we've done so.

Only have to work tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday! Yay for Friday off, I am hoping Abby can spend the night on Friday, that would be most excellent. If not, I am sure she'll stay pretty late into the morning hours :)

Today was unusually amazing for a Monday. Woke up kind of late, sleeping in is nice :) Just wake up when I am done sleeping, took a shower, got ready for the day. I went out to my first consulting appointment. It was for a slow computer which is one of the worst to go out on because that really doesn't tell me anything, there's a million and one reasons as to why a computer could be slow. I ran my usual checks and applications to look for what could be causing the problem. I ended up telling them to purchase some new RAM for not only the machine that was having an issue but for most of their machines. One guy was running 512MBs of RAM, now mind you, these guys are graphics/print designers and sit and play in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign all day...and for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters nonetheless haha. I hope some people have heard of them :P So yeah, we're jacking them up to like 6-8GBs. 512MBs is ridiculous!

After that, I went out and had lunch with my mom, but not before I stopped off at my local gun shop and got my stock replaced...it's kind of ghetto, but whatever haha, it works. I saw the Bushmaster A3 that I really really want, so I am definitely going to be saving up for that. Maybe by the end of the summer I'll have enough money to drop on that (only $1200 haha). After that I found out my car needs like $900 in repairs, I hate cars. Haha. I wish I could just ride my horse everywhere. I'd definitely be down with that.

After lunch I hung out with Abby, we watched a couple episodes of Wildboyz and then I went to my second appointment. It was a good one though, cause it was for one of my old managers from Small Dog. He's looking to do some DVD rentals and needs an application to not only inventory the DVDs, but to handle rentals, returns and customer information. So it's definitely going to be a good learning experience. We'll be writing it in PHP & MySQL and there's a big possibility that he won't be the only people using it, considering I've seen little nothing else out there in the market. So it's going to be a really crazy ride this one!!

After that, I headed out to the barn, met back up with Abby and Bethany. Had some good times there. Abby made me a whole thing of rice crispy treats for me, which I "shared" hahaha. She's so wonderful to me, it's really nice to know there's someone out there who really cares about you...a lot. I believe she's coming over when I get home from work, we're just going to relax, maybe watch a movie or build our Sims a house hahaha.

Tonight, I've got a buncha homework to do. I might start working on an outline for the DVD project. Who knows...maybe I'll do neither and just watch a movie and relax :) Did I mention how amazing Ponyo on a Cliff By The Sea was!? Yeah, it was great, Miyazaki for the win...Did I mention how badly I want that A3...oh, cause I do ;) Thursday is Abby's birthday. I am going to order her some flowers right now...she loves lillys. <3

Well, I've been pretty busy lately. Trying to study and do well with my course at UVM. I've also been trying to work a little bit on Confessh.us code and DeathNote. But there just doesn't seem like there's enough time in the day! Haha.

Work has been going okay. I've been pretty busy lately, so I'm not as bored, which is definitely nice. I had wanted to go riding yesterday, but the weather was just so miserable and I had some things to work on for homework, so I didn't end up going. Today is a different story though, I do have an exam to take between 12pm and 2pm tomorrow, so at least I've got time to complete it. The weather isn't much better but it is FRIDAY!

I've been talking a lot with Adelaide lately. I'm so sad that she isn't local anymore cause I know we'd be hanging out like every day. I guess she's coming up in August, although who knows how well that's going to go over.

Nothing much happening today. I've finished most of the things I needed to get done, done. I have 2 meetings this afternoon, and then I am free. I'll probably do some riding this week and hopefully I'll be working on the new server. I think I am planning to announce a few permanent accounts for sale in the Hello June post in news. We definitely need to get those new HDDs for the new server and right now, that's my only hope for getting them relatively soon.

I really a need a girlfriend. I need someone to kick it with, I'm so bored after work haha....

 Had a really good time this weekend. My buddy/best friend came up from Massachusetts to get a couple things done up here in VT. He picked out the place for his wedding and it's pretty local so I'm happy. I'll be the best man there, actually one of two, so that's going to badass. I'm pretty excited for that. Also snagged an 1911 and an M203 from him, so I am super psyched about that. Not much else went on this weekend. We finished up a large portion of the new database server with lots of help from ltdan. Poor morgan spent like 5 hours trying to figure out the right Gentoo Linux image to use and then creating the bootable USB key. Finally around 12am on Sunday morning we finished up with the base OS install. I think this week we'll work on getting MySQL up and running and setting up permissions and other fun things.

Saturday I went out for an amazing ride on my horse. We just ran through the fields, and up hills and had an amazing time. I don't think I could bring myself to sell him. I'd rather live in a cardboard box then have to sell him.

Today, I worked at the barn and on some class work. Also decided that we're not going to do offsite backup from this location. Instead I've written a script that snags what we were going to backup offsite, copies any changes since last copy to an external drive. I'll then take that drive to a much faster network connection and backup from there. This will allow me to also backup email backups which we weren't planning on doing.

That's about all I have planned for today. I also made a Subversion and Trac repository/project respectfully for DeathNote. I think we're going to need to buy a new server if we really want to be serious about DeathNote.me because currently we're running the site on a 32bit system and we should really be using a 64bit system. I was thinking about doing another Chenbro case, 2U this time. And run 2 OS drives mirrored and 2 drives for MySQL. I think that'd be pretty badass. But that's going to be at least $1500, which we don't have...especially since we just spent like $2300 on the new database server haha.

I'm watching Fruits Basket but it's an English dub and I'm like "this" close to dropping it because I can't stand the annoying English voices and phrases and whatnot. It's terrible, especially after having just watched Welcome to the NHK which was amazing. Alright, I suppose that's enough chatter. :)

So today, I woke up, and emilie  had left a comment and a message in my Facebook Inbox. The comment was on a photo I took of her old horse, I believe she called me an ass and told me not to post the image. LOL. LIKE SERIOUSLY?! Is she for fucking real?! She gets more and more ridiculous as the days go by. Her Inbox message basically read that she was mad at me blah blah, she was truly over what we had been, and she hated me and she never wanted to talk to me again...you get the point. Basically she made an ass out of herself again...which is sad. I wish she would just stop. It's so sad, to see such a an amazing and beautiful girl turn into this. But it's her choice...and there's nothing I can do about it. morgan  then proceeded to rip her a new one....which was relatively humorous...

Anyways, I've been spending a buncha time on MyAnimeList and AnimePaper. The people are nice, at least the ones I've met. Last night I installed a nice PHP script on Percheron which snags my latest watched anime/read manga and displays it on my own personally made forum sig. Wicked slick. It basically uses RSS, GD, and PHP. Very nice stuff.

I'm getting back into anime, which really excites me, mostly because it's hilariously funny stuff. I downloaded a dating sim last night, but I have a feeling it's of the hentai type...woops. I won't know for sure until I install it...will do that tonight.

I'm going to order some Chinese when I'm on the road, so I can just stop in and pick it up. I might even eat it there. Yummy!!

Not much happening tonight, might study some Japanese and watch some Welcome to the NHK.

It's pretty much been forever since I've updated. I've been insanely busy with about a billion things going on. So emilie  and I are pretty much done. I'm sick of her jerking me around and all of that bullshit. It's funny because now even her roommate is starting to dislike her. It's a common trend I am seeing with this girl, so it's a wonder that I hung around with her for 4 years. Pretty much everyone she comes in contact with her, she ends up lying and laying out all of her bullshit and they end up hating her. It's too bad. She used to be an amazing girl. If she'd just stop lying and being who she used to be (an amazing, cute, funny and wonderful person) then she might actually keep some of these people as friends. I don't get it...it's sad really because she really was amazing...but whatever. It's not my issue anymore. I've moved on and I am actively seeking out a new girlfriend, someone who's honest, caring and enjoy being with me because they like me.

There are so many other things I want to say about this girl, but I am not sure if it's worth my time haha

I applied for a job as a Linux Server Administrator at one of the local ISPs but I was too over-qualified and asking for too much money haha. I'm too smart for my own good, so while that kind of sucks (sucks because I love Linux/server administration) it's a good thing because I will now stay at UVM and I will probably be getting a degree in Equine Science and possibly Japanese communication which I am really excited about! It's going to be a lot of fun. I'm taking Japanese Communication and Fundamentals in Nutrition this summer, and I'll be taking probably another 2-3 classes this fall. Really awesome...

I've been working with morgan  to build our new server. 95% of it is out of pocket money which sucks, but we love doing it so it'll be worth it. Currently we've only got the RAID card, case, rails and the brackets for the PSU. The case is wicked sexy. I'll post some pics and stuff when we get more of the gear in.

I've been riding a lot, and my horse is showing it. He's getting nice and muscley(??) haha. He's looks amazing. I'll be riding again tomorrow night after work, so that'll be fun! And tomorrow is Friday, so that makes it even more fun!!

I've started watching Welcome to NHK, and I like it so far, although I've only seen one episode. I have a feeling it'll be some good fun :) I also finished Death Note, which I absolutely loved. Really awesome series :D Ryuk is hilarious! I really want to watch Resident Evil: Degeneration, I semi-watched it like a month or two ago, but I would really like to actually have time to pay attention and not watch it while doing 200 other things. Haha.

Not much else going on besides all that...today I'm just going home to relax. I might work on a bit of my Japanese stuff, but that's about it.

Been pretty busy lately, but then and again when haven't I. Sorry to people who I've not left comments for, I tried to leave some today.

I've been a little messed up lately, but not like seriously, just dealing with my feelings for <lj user="emilie">. I guess I don't know where we really are, I guess we're just friends, and stuff, and in reality I want it to be so much more, but I try to keep that bit of it inside me, because she's not ready for something like that yet, sometimes I don't know what she wants...although she's told me what she wants, it seems different when we're together.

She did get a new job, so I'm very proud of her, and she makes more then in her previous job so that's awesome. It sounds like she really likes it too, it's a job outside of the banking industry which is all she's known, she has some to learn. Which also sucks for me, because she spends all her time do that, which is understandable, I mean if I got a new job, I would be spending a lot of time learning about it, but if we were still living together at least I could wake up to her and fall asleep with her, in the situation we're in now, I can not do that, so it really sucks.

I don't know, things are obviously not how I'd like them to be, and I honestly don't know when and if they ever will be. I miss her more then anything in the world and it's killing me...so emo I know, but it's really how I feel. I literally cannot stop thinking about her and us, and blaaah. It's horrible.

Other shit I've been up to: working on a new web project which we launched on Friday. It's called Confessh.us and basically you can just submit confessions. http://confessh.us - we're still in beta, but we definitely want lots of people checking it out, using it and helping us squish some bugs! :)

Also been watching a lot of Death Note, maybe a bit too much cause I've been having dreams about it lately. It's a wicked awesome show though. I think next I might do Code Geass.

I've been cleaning up my airsoft guns and making sure they're in decent working condition. They all are for the most of it, next I've got to plan on which OPs I want to go to. There was one yesterday, but I didn't find out till yesterday, and there's one next week, but I'll be down in Massachusetts getting an iPhone replacement. So we're looking at probably going to an OP in Ghost Town on the weekend of the 25th (also my birthday weekend). It'll be awesome, of course, I've got to make sure Greg can do it as well.

Today, nothing really happening, watched some Death Note this morning, was awesome, but a bit sad. I won't say any spoilers :P I'm about to head out to the barn...

 Been a bit since I last updated. Many things have happened since. Last week was nothing unusual. It went by really quickly. There's been a lot to do at work, because one of the big projects at work finally got some more funding so they've been going full speed ahead and they've got a lot of web work for me to be doing. I usually tended to do things slowly or not at all, so there wouldn't be days where I wasn't working. But now it's pretty crazy. I've been working most days with zero breaks until the end of the day, or I'll work until 4:15 or so, and just leave for the day, rather do my lunch then haha. It works though, I'd rather just get a lot done, so I feel accomplished and then have a nice break or leave early.

emilie  and I hung out on Thursday. We've started playing World of Warcraft. We're humans on Turylon. I'm a mage and she's a paladin. We're definitely having fun with it. We sing the Billy Maclure song, mostly because we are questing in a mine (Jasperload and Fargo Deep) hehe. We're so silly. We both bought little cat pets too, to match the ones we have in real life :) I think we'll be shortly going to Westfall since we're pretty much done in Elwynn Forest. I'm having a blast with it. I could work on my 56 Orc but, I really just don't have time at the moment.

I've been watching Death Note too. It's fantastic! I really really love it! I think I might buy the manga at some point too. It's really really great stuff! :)

Today, not much happened, I watched some Death Note, and hung at the barn. I am going to be sponsoring one of my friends classes at the big Morgan horse show in Massachusetts this summer. That's really great, she's a really good rider.

Tonight, my plans are study Japanese and probably more Death Note, I really like how I am starting to understand some of the words written & spoken in anime, TV and movies. Hehe.

 Work is eh, getting rather mundane. The shit I do is well below my level and it's really starting to get to me. It's so boring. I guess I really shouldn't complain though because I'm actually quite lucky to even have a job at all, and one that pays well with good benefits. So yeah, I'll stop complaining about that crap now.

emilie came over for pizza and movies on Friday. We had a really great time. Things are definitely looking up between us and that really makes me happy. I know we can work our shit out and all. I am really glad we can hang out and have as much fun as we do. We ended up watching City of Ember which was really neat. I really enjoyed it. Then we just hung for a little bit, I think I gave her a back massage or something and then she went home. She doesn't really like driving around when it's dark and all. So yeah, had a really great night with her.

Saturday, I really didn't do much, worked on some web things, mostly for a new web project that morgan  and I are doing. No details yet, there's still a VERY lot of work to be done haha

Sunday, I texted with Emilie a bit, then was going to start watching a movie, but my best buddy Greg called and told me to come over. He lives down in MA now, he's originally from here and we've been friends forever, so anyways, he's up visiting with his fiance. So I drove over there, and we hung out there for a bit. Had some delicious angel food cake (that's what it's called right?), watched some of the Bruins/Devils game...I think when we left it was like 3-0 Bruins, I'll assume they went to win it, but I have no idea. Then me, him, and Jess went to the barn, I finally got to show him my horse. I let them give him some treats haha, I am sure he loved that. So then we went to Frankie's (also know as Friendly's to normal people) and got some eats. I've not been there since the summer, during one of my trips down to MA to see him of course.

So then I drove them back to Darko's and I came home myself. Finished, or rather started and finished Slumdog Millionaire. Was a pretty good movie, I liked it. So now I'm just reading a few things, I don't really feel very tired anymore, not sure what's up with that cause it's like 12:30am now. Oh well.

Emilie is going to come over tomorrow. Going to probably watch some movies, maybe take a nice walk and work on some job stuff. It'll be good!! I suppose I'll go watch some TV or something now and passout! :)

I'm currently attending some new employee orientation for UVM. We're watching the inauguration (I guess we're on break), but this morning we went over a few things, also took a trip around campus, did some UVM history stuff. It wasn't really that fun, although I learned a few neat things about the history of UVM. How that'll help me perform my job better, I don't know.

I actually got an email about the orientation last week or something, but some how it got lost. Trust me, being an IT person, I definitely felt like an idiot. Last night I was scrambling around to figure out when and where this thing was. This morning I finally got it all taken care of. I was like 30 minutes late to the thing, but whatever...I didn't miss the most important parts.

This weekend I went down to see Keith. I also got a new iPhone (since the silencer switch snapped off mine) and to get the topcase on my black MacBook replaced. Definitely was nice to see him. Last time I had seen him was when I went to do consulting with him at Yellow Stain, I mean Steel. What fuckers haha. The drive down was nice, I finally got through some Diggnation episodes, although not enough to really make a dent in my 700+ unlistened podcasts lol. There were cars off the road all over the place. I actually saw some lady go flying off. She blew by me, and in my mind I thought, "Yep see you in the ditch lady..." and sure enough 500ft down the road there she was. Sitting in a snowbank, haha. I made really good time though, considering the roads were crap.

So Monday, we went to the Apple Store, got all my stuff switched out. I think the girl who helped me, also helped me back in the Spring when my 8GB 1G iPhone crapped out. Keith works at this store too, so that made it a bit nicer too. I would much rather travel down there then deal with the AT&T Stores up here an/or Small Dog. Our Unicel stores just turned into AT&T stores so I have a feeling they wouldn't have the iPhone as a service part yet (but I could be wrong), but it's my best friend and seeing him is a lot of fun!

After my Apple Store appointment, I came home, hit up the barn first to get my stalls cleaned and then went back home. Emilie and I then went over to my parents, did some laundry and got some food. I also got a bunch of goods from my mom, some bacon, yogurt, granola, and some raviolis. I love going there, my parents are awesome.

This morning as mentioned was filled with some chaos as I had to figure out all this orientation crap. Since I'm full time now, I guess I've really got to hold up to my responsibilities, I've really gotta do well too cause I really like being able to work for the university and I am definitely going to take advantage of it. I'm hoping to take a bunch of classes, maybe this summer if not then, definitely in the fall. While I definitely DO NOT see myself working in the department I am currently in, I know I do not want to, I'd end up killing myself. So yeah, there's a master plan, there always is, and I believe this step into full time here, is just one of the steps that will get me to a higher and better place at some point. I've just got to do what I've been hired too, and all will be good. There just seems to be an overwhelming amount of things I've got to do, and rules and protocols to follow. I think I might be blowing it up a bit more then I should though. I am sure everything will be fine. :) It's just a lot for me all at once, it'll settle down :)

Last night after Emilie and I got back from my parents, we just put on our PJs, snuggled into the warn bed and started watching Gran Torino. I had no idea what it was going to be about. I'm probably 3/4th the way through the movie though. We ended up falling asleep, so I'll probably finish the rest when I get home.

So during this entry, President Obama is now really the president, someone who knows me messaged me on iChat, I have no idea who they are...I've filled out some health/dental insurance forms...

I am hoping this orientation isn't very much longer. I think the lady said something about the forms taking about an hour to fill out and then I hope that's the end. I then plan on getting some food and I'll probably just head home haha I might go back to the office, but I really just don't feel like dealing with these people haha

I've been listening to a lot of Asian Kung-Fu Generation lately. But I'd really love to get into some more JROCK bands and stuff. Does anyone have anything for me? Send me stuff!! :)

I dunno if it's really post holidays, do people consider New Years/Eve part of the holidays?? I guess I do. I never do anything. Christmas was okay, I got a new WoW hoody to replace the one that I had which is got a buncha holes (I still love it and plan to wear it though). Not much else though, and I really don't care. I hate Christmas. I hate getting and giving presents. I attempt to make the day as regular as possible, but of course we've got to go to my parents and all, blah. It's not that things are terrible or miserable or there's fighting or there's something bad about the holiday. I just don't like it.

emilie and I watched some more BECK last night. I quite like that show! We tried to watch Neo-Tokyo, but I think I might end up watching that one myself. It's a bit, not like the normal anime we watch. We also watched some of the new Bam Margera movie, hilarious as usual. I actually will probably finish it up after this entry. I'm also planning on picking out another anime series to watch on my iPod (when I'm on the bus and all).

Nothing going on tonight at all, just the way I like it. I might play some Call of Duty 4 or something, maybe loop again.

Not much else is new. I'm looking to get more work, whether it be at the University or consulting, but I think I might have to pick one or the other, and real soon. I've thought about doing a lot of things lately, such as returning to Wentworth, going to Japan, going into the Army or possibly the Airforce...I really have no idea...I might even sell my horse haha, I really don't know!

One thing I do know is that I am hungry :D I think I shall have some lunch! Yum!

Yesterday I spent a bunch of time moving the iMac into the "bedroom" and hooking up all 9-10 drives to it and connecting that to the AppleTV instead of the Xserve. It seems to be working (and hopefully a lot better) as the previous setup was pissing me off. That's about all I did yesterday, I did some work on a vBulletin install morgan  setup.

Also ltdan  and morgan  started the wiki for the network. I am quite happy with it. Just one less thing that is not on my plate.

I actually got some Xbox in the other night. Definitely had a good time. Also spoke with my good buddy Greg the other day, he's well, I can't wait to see him soon, hopefully Christmas. I also hooked up with an old friend from AP, Shelly. We used to talk like every day for 12 hours haha. I haven't spoken to her since like 04-05 though, so it was really nice to catch up. I love catching up with people who I like.

Today we're going to the barn, I think I might go riding either tomorrow or Tuesday, whatever day is supposed to be like 50 F. Then we're going to dinner and I guess come home to watch some movies or play on Playstation Home as it seems to be pretty fun. Emilie seems to be enjoying it. I haven't had time to sit down and play with it.

 Between working at UVM, working at the barn, fixing broken mail server *cough* Palomino *cough*, I've barely got time for anything else. When I get home at night all I wanna do is plunk myself down in front of Xbox or watch a movie. My brain can't really handle much more haha.

Been pretty quiet on the consulting front which is nice, because I am not sure I have time for much more. I am pretty much running on people calling me now, I barely have time to check the GC account for new people which kind of sucks.

I'm still working on getting one ad network on here, to probably replace the Google ads, or maybe have them all in rotation, not sure, still a work in progress.

morgan 's boyfriend is looking to take her down to Boston or Montreal for dinner and hanging out, I thought I could do the same with emilie although not at the moment, probably after the new year, maybe even as late as the Spring.

Not much else is going on...have a couple staff and friend parties that I might attend, depends on how much work I can get done between now and when they happen.

 This week went by so quickly. I feel like I just got out of the SF & DGD show last Saturday. Been really busy at work as usual. I haven't been doing much consulting at all lately. I might have an appointment on Monday, but who knows, depends on whether or not I feel like it I guess. I've been sick, I think I caught it from a certain someone, blech! Oh well, I think I am actually starting to feel better, it feels like it's just in my head now. Nothing that some medicine and tea can't fix.

I've got a bunch of new games, so I've got to update the master list. I am thinking about just ex-ing off a bunch that I know I will never touch again. I played some Crisis Core this morning, was fun. I really do like that game, I actually might boot it back up once I finish this entry. So emilie is going to be gone for pretty much all of the next week which means I'll be alone here at the apartment all week! I don't know if I'll be able to figure out what to do!

I almost bought the WALL-E DVD today, but then I figured if I am actually going to buy a movie that it might as well as be on Blu-ray. Especially a movie like that.

Been talking to this guy (raf ) who does a bunch of Scribbld's CSS, he's really cool. He became friends with morgan  and then I met him through her. Definitely a geek genius! Poor Morgan has been going through a lot lately, but I won't go into to much detail, I'll let her tell her own story if she wishes.

I'm really enjoying this backlit keyboard, I'm sitting here with music playing on AppleTV in the dark working on various computer projects and I can see my keyboard perfectly fine. I think it would be really cool to pull it apart and replace the white lights with red or something, might even make it better on the eyes in the dark.

A lot of kids (okay 3 but in like the span of 2 weeks) having been dying at the University, it's definitely a little sketchy and it sucks. I don't/didn't know of any of them personally. Also my friends boyfriends brother died this past week so that was definitely not fun. I believe he was a grade above me in high school, I didn't really know him, or was friends with him, but it's pretty close to me...not sure I have much else to say about that subject.

I played some Resistance this afternoon. Definitely a fun game and it's just got a really good amount of difficulty to it, where I can stand it and it's not too easy and not too hard. Really well done, I definitely want to get the 2nd game.

I am really digging the NXE. Morgan and I share an account so it kind of sucks we can't have 2 avatars/characters, but that's understandable, you're not really supposed to be sharing an account, but considering I log in every other week or something it made sense for us haha That and she had been working on a game back when we first got Xbox and she didn't create her own account or forgot to log into the one she created so now she doesn't want to loose those gamer points she accumulated haha. Go figure...now my character is some blonde haired chick...

I haven't really talked to makkintosshu or Keith in a few weeks, it kind of sucks, but it just goes to show you how crazy busy we all are. I haven't even played GoW2 with either of them, suck!

Tonight, I think Emilie and I are going to watch The Dark Knight and maybe WALL-E...maybe some BECK too. It's rather cold here, it started snowing like crazy today! Anyways, I think I'll jump into Crisis Core and attempt to figure out why PSP doesn't support WPA2 as an 802.11x encryption protocol...grrr....!
