World of Warcraft: Thrall |
[03 Oct 2006|09:05am] |
For a while now I’ve been into setting up private servers. For instance a private World of Warcraft server, a private R.O.S.E Online Evolution Server and more. I’ve done the private World of Warcraft server a couple times, but I’ve just setup another one! I welcome you all to come and play! You can follow instruction on the website to get yourself connected.
I’ve also set up some discussion boards so that I can help support users trying to connect to the server but also to help in setting up their own private server.
It’s all just for fun, and because I wouldn’t have idle servers sitting around!
Mind you I still play my normal character on real Blizzard servers, but on my private server I am going places and seeing things I probably will never see on a Blizzard server.
So please join us in either the discussion boards or on the server! Hope to see you there!

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker Update! |
[03 Oct 2006|09:05am] |
Well, it’s been a while since I’ve updated about my Wind Waker progress…actually, it’s been a long time since I’ve updated anything on this blog! So so sorry about that!
Last time I was just starting the Dragon Roost level and now I have finally finished it! I had gotten to the boss key on Sunday night but somehow I managed to die so I just quit and played another game. Last night (Monday night) I traced my steps back through about the entire level and snagged the key, and beat the boss. I must say it was a challenging boss for the first real boss in the game.
I am still trying to get a hang of the Gamecube controller. It’s odd because I’ve had the system since it came out, yet I’ve played with it for maybe 5 hours…jeeez, I’m not cool.
The story is coming along, although I am not sure if beating that level really helped in saving Link’s sister!
The graphics are really beautiful and while the controls annoy me at times, they’re pretty consistent and fluid. I am not sure about this whole sailing thing, I would rather be on a horse or on foot, but I am sure I’ll get used to it.
I can’t wait to see what else this world has in store for me!

Pzizz — It Works! |
[03 Oct 2006|09:06am] |
For voting in the Dream App contest I was rewarded with a free license to Pzizz. At first I didn’t even bother with it because it just sounded like a horrible program. How else would they score hundreds or thousands of free licenses to it?!
Finally I just downloaded the software and got it installed. The one part that sounded semi-cool to me was the sleep mode. Unfortunately the license from the contest was only for the energizer mode so I was out of luck. Of course with some searching I found the sleep addon and set that up.
Pzizz is a collection of audio that helps you either energize or put yourself to sleep. I know it may sound odd, but it actually works! I’ve been using it for the past week right before I fall asleep and the music and sounds are soothing and relaxing. While the audio plays a guy talks in the background. He sort of sounds like a therapist, with a relaxing voice.
The audio besides the guys voice are sounds like a forest, or an ocean. You do have the ability to set the volumes of both the ambient sounds and also the guys voice which I thought was cool. You can generate a random sleep/energizer track each time and you can even save them to an MP3 file for your iPod!
I have yet to try the energizer mode…usually I have other things to energize me throughout the day, but having the sleep mode is really nice. It’s a great thing to listen to when I am falling asleep at the end of a rough day!
Check out Pzizz!
