AdiumX & Jomic [11 Apr 2006|11:37pm] Downloaded the World of WarCraft comic (The Sunwell Trilogy) and the first 2 parts of the Coheed and Cambria comic book. I did start reading the Co&Ca a couple days ago, but thats on my Gentoo machine I don't have up anymore. It is a good comic though!! Just need to find some more time to continue reading them. I would have thought they would open in Preview (for OS X) cause they opened perfectly find in Gentoo of all places! It didn't, it attempted to open in TextMate (which is great for coding in C++, CSS, HTML...) so it was all this cryptic code haha SO a quick Google turned up Jomic which seems to be a cross-platform comic-book reader. More specifically one that can read .CBR files. Not only can it read them but it can convert those file-types into a PDF which is more universal. Quickly converted those into PDF files and now they work wonderfully in Preview! It also seems that AdiumX has been updated. The only thing I could find about the changes were some that had to do with ICQ. I absolutely dislike ICQ and it's network. No one in my "network" uses it, but I updated AdiumX anyways! ARD3 is wonderful, I like the new interface a lot. It's slick, smooth and sexy! I am still finding all the new goodies in it, but things look great so far!! post comment

ARD3 [11 Apr 2006|11:37pm] Apple released version 3 of their wonderul Remote Desktop. I am downloading it right now. It's nice to have access to a legal copy with a good key :) ILU ASW :P Gotta test it all out on my XServe and all! Consulting this morning. Went very well, lately people have been quite nice to work with and it's all been wonderful! Got WarCraft III Battle chest. WC3: RoC and WC3: FC for $39. 2 games for $40 is GREAT! Plus I can play on Battle.net since I have a "legal" key haha I was looking through the game manual and I noticed a map and there I saw Kalimdor and Durotor! I also got a free 14-day trial of WoW :) So maybe I'll use the one I got from WoW and this one and play with Emilie for a couple weeks when she here. Fun fun!! Watched James & The Giant Peach last night. Great movie! Off to read various Linux things I suppose. post comment
