Rachel Karen Green, a fashion enthusiast and Monica Geller's best friend from high school, moved in with Monica in 1994 after leaving fiance Barry at the alter. She lived there until Chandler and Monica married in 1999, briefly lived with Phoebe from 1999 to 2000, then moved in with Joey in 2000. When Monica and Chandler moved out of Manhattan with their twins in 2003, Rachel moved back into her former apartment...ALONE.
Rachel's first job was as a waitress at Central Perk in 1994, but she later became an assistant at Fortunata Fashions in 1996, a buyer and personal shopper at Bloomingdale's in 1997, and an Executive at Ralph Lauren in 1999, where she is still employed.
Rachel and Ross were involved in an on-again-off-again relationship from 1995 to 1999, including a drunken wedding in Vegas which only lasted from May 1999 to October 1999. It was then she realized she and Ross just weren't meant to be and after the divorce and a miscarriage, which Ross never knew about, she called things off for good. She and Joey teased around a relationship in 2003 but eventually decided to just remain friends.
I play Rachel canon aside from: 1. She did not get offered a job in Paris and stayed at Ralph Lauren 2. She and Ross never had a child, nor did they date after October 1999 3. Her canon birth year is 1971 but I use 1979. I can be flexible with that.
