Kimiko is Katsuo's cousin. She has an older sister Haruko who scares the daylights out of both of them.

She met Dennis O'Clery in a grocery store and the two became fast friends (and then lovers). Not knowing much about sex Kim, who had never really been a wild child until arriving in Burnham, got pregnant. She and Dennis decided to keep the baby and Dennis moved in with her and Princess.

She gave birth to daughter Mariko on Halloween of 2007. She loves her daughter and has proven an excellent mother, much to the surprise of Princess and Haru. She still struggles to make a decent living however, working at a grocery store and having Princess babysit.
