in character.
FULL NAME: Jonathan D. Chambers the One and Only (the ‘D’ doesn’t actually stand for anything, he adds it because it looked cool). As for his ex-fiancee, they have a friendly relationship but there is no romantic love there. And his daughter, now one and a half, seems to love the fact she has two of everything.
Johnny is a quarter Italian - his grandmama, who Mia is named after, was a lovely Italian woman who his grandfather met when they were in their late teens. In a way he kind of wishes he had the same romance they had but realises fairy tales like that aren't for everyone.

Appearance.
PB: Alex Pettyfer. Short (sometimes fluffy) dirty blonde hair and dark blue eyes - Johnny is quite attractive, although, he has never really seen himself that way. He just sees Johnny. Not that he considers himself ugly, he just thinks he looks as he has always looked - just a little older.
He stands at roughly 5'10... possibly 5'11. He isn't one who tends to stand straight, opting to lean on things or other people, so it's hard to get an accurate height for him. He has a lithe athletic build, thanks to his training schedule and profession, the bulk of his muscle being in his arms and shoulders from throwing around the Quaffle.
Clothes wise, Johnny's wardrobe ranges from button-up shirts and trousers to plain t-shirts and jeans. At work, he'll wear his Quidditch Uniform and training gear on non-game days. He tends to shy away from wearing robes off the pitch because they aren't real practical when raising a young daughter.
Johnny also has a tattoo on his chest, just above his heart that says "luce mia, per sempre tua" which is Italian for "my light, forever yours". Yes, he knows it's sappy but he doesn't care. Besides, girls seem to like a guy in touch with their sensitive side.
Personality.
Sometimes people wonder how in the world Jonathan landed in Ravenclaw at all. He is not bookish in the slightest, has a rather bold personality and at times can appear quite dense. Academically, he is brilliant and could probably have run circles around his professors if only he gave a damn. He was one of those annoying ones that could pass a test without even trying and studying was a foriegn concept to.
However, what Johnny has in academic smarts he lacks in common sense. For instance, he is the sort of person to wash his whites with his colours and wonder why he ended up with a pink shirt. Because of his lack of common sense he can come across as kind of stupid, which in turn brings us back to wondering why Johnny is a Ravenclaw.
He is a very devoted person and will throw a 110% into anything he believes in. When he first left school and was selected to play for Puddlemere, he dedicated his life to the team and jumped from the Reserves into the main squad halfway through his first season because of it - that and another player was injured and out for the rest of the season. However, once Mia was born, his devotion shifted and his little girl became his whole world. He even proposed to her mother, however, their engagement was short lived - only lasting three months. He and Amanda, Mia's Mum, are still friends but realised quickly their "relationship" was just a farce.
He still loves his Quidditch Team and travels with them during the season. But during breaks he always comes back to his parents home in Brighton to give his daughter a stable place to live in while she is with him.
LIKES: Mia, being a Dad, Quidditch DISLIKES: People who judge him and Amanda for having Mia out of wedlock, brocolli, Mia getting hurt, being hurt himself HABITS: Has a strict order in which he eats his food - meat, then vegetables, then whatever else is on the plate. VICES: He smokes when stressed - not in the house or around Mia.
History.
Born on the 18th of May in 1978 to Eric Chambers, a pureblood Quidditch player from a working-class family, and Isabella Chambers (nee Saxby), a Muggleborn Half-Italian Half-English housewife, Jonathon had quite a normal upbringing for a child growing up in Brighton. One of his favourite hobbies when he was little was to terrorise the tourist that would visit the pier. Thankfully, he has grown out of that... ocassionally.
He went to a Muggle school before attending Hogwarts because his Mother wanted him to understand all the cultures in his life and that included her Muggle background. Jonathon didn't really like the Muggle school all that much because he had to try and control what little magic he had at the time. And when he finally got his Hogwarts letter at age eleven, Johnny threw his old uniform in the rubbish.
When it came time for Jonathon's sorting there were a few places he could have ended up. He had the boldness of a Gryffindor but also possessed the loyalty of a Hufflepuff. However, the Sorting Hat cried "RAVENCLAW!" loudly over the Great Hall, proving that his natural intelligence was his strongest trait. Johnny didn't particularly care which House he ended up in but he was secretly pleased it was the same House as his mother.
At Hogwarts, Johnny took to the lessons like a duck to water, learning the spells with ease. However, even though spells came easily to Johnny, he never seemed to apply himself in any of his classes - a fact that seemed to frustrate most of his professors because they could see the potential he possessed and no matter what they did they couldn't seem to draw it out of him.
He joined the Ravenclaw Quidditch team in his third year, playing as a starting Chaser right up until his seventh year. During the time he made friends with some of his Ravenclaw teammates, particularly his fellows Chasers. Johnny was good at the sport - much like how he was good at a lot of things - but it was the one thing that seemed to have his undivided attention. Well, that is until he started to notice girls - one girl in particular.
Her name was Amanda Atherton, a Muggleborn Hufflepuff the same year as him. They were very much the schoolyard sweethearts after they began dating in their fifth year. Johnny thought he had found the one in Amanda, much in the same way his grandfather met his grandmamma when he went to study in Italy for a year in his late teens. Amanda and Johnny dated right through school and even for a little while after graduation in 1996.
In August of 1996, Amanda fell pregnant and Johnny had gained a contract to play for the Reserves for Puddlemere United. Life seemed a bit rocky for the young couple but Johnny proposed, thinking it was the right thing to do. However, the engagement was short-lived and in November that same year, Amanda called it off.
Most would have thought Johnny would have been devestated by this but in truth, he had seen it coming. Not seen seen but he knew it would have happened eventually. He and Amanda were growing a part despite the fact they were having a baby together. They decided to remain friends and worked out a schedule that would allow them both time to see the baby. And on June the 4th, 1997, the light of Jonathon's life was born. Amelia Atherton-Chambers, or Mia for short, was the perfect little princess and instantly had 19 year old Jonathon wrapped around her dainty little finger.
Also at the start of 1997, in mid-January, Johnny got the call up from the Reserve squad to the starting line-up because another Chaser had become injured in a game against Ballycastle and was out for the rest of the season. He did well in the main squad and made a few friends in the team, some former players from school he used to verse. He continued on the starting squad for he second and third (and current) seasons - travelling with the club but always finding time to visit Mia and staying in Brighton with his parents during the off-season to give Mia somewhere stable to stay rather than being on the road with him during the Quidditch season.
