Abilities: Nita has the mutant ability of cryokinesis, which allows her to use control the moisture in the air and transform it into super-hard ice. She can transform the ice into any object of her choosing (ice-slides, spikes, ice-shields, etc). If she concentrates hard enough, she could use the ice to encase her enemies in it. Because of her powers, she has a heightened resistance to colder temperatures, and winter weather doesn't really bother her.
She's also an accomplished gymnast.
Weaknesses and flaws: Extreme heat. If there isn't enough moisture in the air or she is extremely dehydrated, Nita can't create ice.

Backstory: Though they had their problems, Vance and Angelica eventually worked through their issues and married. Due to the nature of her powers, Angelica didn't know if she would be able to conceive, so when she discovered that she was pregnant a year into her and Vance's marriage, the pair was both surprised and worried. Angelica's pregnancy was heavily monitored to make sure that no harm would come to the baby during it. Nine months later, Angelica gave birth to a baby girl, who her and Vance named Nita, after their good friend Namorita.
Growing up, Nita's childhood. Well, as normal as a childhood a daughter of two superheroes could have. Angelica mostly retired from superheroics, and Vance only ever really donned the cape part-time. Still, they didn't hide their pasts as superheroes from Nita, and she was raised around their friends from the New Warriors and the Avengers.
Nita's mutant ability manifested at age thirteen. She got into an argument with her mother, and formed ice spikes in the heat of the moment. After some tests, it was discovered that Nita had cryokinesis, and could form ice using the moisture in the air around her. With time, Nita learned to control her powers.
Nita really didn't enter the superhero game until she turned eighteen. When she was a freshman at ESU, Nita ended up breaking up a fight with some C-level villains. She decided she liked heroing, and with her parents' blessing, donned the mantle Icemaiden, and started juggling heroing with college. More recently, she's decided to try and join the Avengers.
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Attempting to join the Avengers.
What are you planning to do with this character?: Avengers plots. Having her adjust to being on a team.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: I'd love to see her come into her own a little bit more as a hero.
