→ Did she do something to her father? Ethics probably prevented her from Healing him, but if she got desperate/crazed enough, she might have attempted a cure she believed would work. Maybe she made things worse, maybe she didn't help at all, but when she had to go on leave and started having panic attacks about the hospital, it ultimately didn't matter because she could never return to practise there.
→ I think her parents had a very sort of dreamy, fanciful partner and a very down to earth, sensible, etc. partner, and they had a pretty unhappy marriage because of circumstances, so she maybe fears the same thing happening to her and Elliot? Or maybe... maybe she realises that Elliot and she need to be the way they are, to balance one another, but she still worries that it might be too much and they'll end up unhappily like her parents were.

→ can't quite figure out her personality... she vacillates between like... elle kavanaugh, sheldon cooper, and effy. She mostly seems like a cool hilarious girl, but she has her moments of shining social retardation.
