Lian cradled Donna in her arms, smiling down at her daughter. "Hi, Donna," she said softly. "I'm your Mom." She moved so that Donna was looking at Damien. "That over there? That's Daddy."
Her face fell at the mention of Damien getting taken away. "If you knew that would happen...then why did you risk it?"
