Mom and Dad would never know and hey, if they ever found out you could tell them you were trying to teach me a lesson or something. Dad'd totally buy it."

She does, however, look concerned when he mentions a situation.

"What happened, Rex?"

Her first thought was that he'd done something stupid because while her brother didn't like to talk about his issues, she knew what they were. Sometimes, she felt guilty for even existing, knowing the situation about his own father's disappearance.
