Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
I was starting to think this thing was gone forever - it's amazing what you find when you're idiot house elf knocks over a bookshelf and things come tumbling down.

I don't really know what to write about - so much has happened. I got married, for starters, though that's hardly news to those of you who actually matter. He's much more than I ever could have hoped for in a man - he's handsome, intelligent, powerful.

Though I have to say, the best thing about him is that he's the father to our little girl, Astrid. I never want to part with her, which is the main reason why I've been holing myself away for the last couple of months.

That and I desperately needed to lose whatever baby weight I put on before I showed my face in public.

I'm thinking it's time for me to get back out into the real world - catch up with old friends, and off course show off Astrid.

I never in my life thought I'd enjoy being a mother this much. It's still so bizarre to think of myself as that - a mother.

Well with her parents being who they are, can you expect anything less?

Absolutely not! And I adore her name, too. Sigh, I wish my sister had given birth to a girl, so much easier to spoil than a nephew!

You're more than welcome to spoil this little one! I encourage it, really! She deserves nothing but the best.
