Luke Forrester

NAME: Luke Forrester
AGE/BIRTHDAY: 15 // January 21, 1995
GRADE: 9th grade
CLASS: lower middle class; relatively known mainly due to older siblings already being there

FAMILY:
Namey McName - Birth Father
Namey McName - Birth Mother

Albert Forrester - Adoptive Father
Lisa Forrester - Adoptive Mother
Jase Forrester - Brother, 17.
Kris Forrester - Adoptive sister, 17.
Meghan Forrester - Adoptive sister, 12.
Zoe Forrester - Adoptive sister, 12.
Iris Forrester - Adoptive sister, 10.

Luke loves his entire family, but he can't help but feel closer to Jase than the rest of them. He figures it is because Jase is his biological brother though he never introduces any of his siblings as anything other than his brother or sister(s) and his adoptive parents as mom and dad.
SEXUALITY: heterosexual
ACTIVITIES: basketball and track team

APPEARANCE: Luke feels that he still has growing to do and says that. So far he's standing at 5'8" and has been told that he isn't wrong about the fact he still has growing to do. Of course it does make him slightly awkward in movement, but he puts his all into making it appear like his legs aren't feeling like they're too long and his arms too short. It normally doesn't take him too long to get himself put back together, but occasionally people can see him trip up a bit if he isn't paying attention.

When it comes to clothing Luke's not picky. He knows that he really can't be. He's happy with jeans and t-shirts along with tennis shoes. He doesn't really ever have a reason to dress up nicer than that though he does own a dress shirt, dress pants and a tie and good shoes, but they're typically left in his closet to gather dust.
PLAYED BY: Drew Van Acker

LIKES: basketball, track, girls, his adoptive family, music

DISLIKES: forced reading, being stuck indoors, jerks, rap, classical music, being in school

STRENGTHS: Being friendly and basically being able to put people at ease with a smile and a few words.

WEAKNESSES: He's quick to anger whenever his family is brought up in a negative way.

DETAILED PERSONALITY: Friendly is one way to describe Luke. After all he couldn't grow up in such an eclectic family and not be friendly. It wouldn't do for him to be closed off and mean while dealing with all of them and so the friendly and open attitude continued on toward the other people that Luke was around. It took a lot for Luke not to consider someone at least a friendly acquaintance if not outright friend though it was possible.

Despite the fact of him being so friendly that didn't stop him from having a bit of a temper on him when given the right things to work with. He's very easily set off if someone has something negative to say about his family. After all these were the people who wanted him when his own birth family didn't. He couldn't stand it when people had something negative to say about them.

Luke is also very hard working. He knows what he wants and he does what he needs to get there. Yes, that includes making an effort at his school work if he decides that he wants to get a certain grade for something. Most of his effort goes into the sports he plays and what he does to try to help around at the Forrester house.

HISTORY: While Jase might remember very little about his early childhood or birth parents, Luke remembers nothing. He was only 3 years old when he and Jase were taken and placed in the foster care system. They both found themselves passed from foster home to foster home, some decent and others supremely crappy, before they finally found their "forever" home with the Forresters. To Luke they are really the only family he's ever known.

The Forrester family has always been, in a word, chaotic. With so many children ranging from 17 to 10, the house is always alive, full of energy, and never once is there a dull moment. There's always something to do, someone to spend time with, and things to get into. Of course, being in a family like this could always mean getting lost in the crowd or shuffle, but in the case of the Forresters, this rarely happens.

Their adoptive parents were unable to have any children of their own, so they opted to take abandoned children into their own home. They had the money and means to do it and properly care for them, so they took the chance the first time they had it. And then.. then one child just didn't seem to be enough to love (they had lots of love to give, after all!), so along the way, they adopted several more, including Jase and Luke when they was still young boys.

Since the Forresters are all that Luke remembers he really doesn't ever get all that curious about his birth parents. Oh he'll have that conversation with Jase about what their birth family was like, but if Jase didn't bring it up first then Luke definitely wasn't going to. He was happy where he was. He had two parents who loved him and more siblings then he knew what to do with. Why would he care about people that evidently didn't care about them?

As the years went on Luke often forgot that they were all adopted. They're crazy mix just fit. Of course Luke found that he didn't fit with school as well as he did with his family. It came out in a report he wrote that he was adopted and it went from there. More often than not Luke would come home with a note from the school about an altercation he was involved in or he'd bail out early just to get away from it. He'd always tell his parents that he didn't need to be around such small minded individuals as they weren't conducive to learning.

Luckily Luke got better at dealing with it as he got older. He never really became a fan of school, but he did alright. He knew that he wasn't a genius, but he knew that he was going to pass with decent grades if he kept going the way he was. Of course he knew that high school was going to be harder than elementary and middle school, but he was certain that he'd be able to handle it.
