The Central city public library was open to everyone. Sometimes Mark wished it wasn't. So many people put stuff out of place no matter how many times he and his co-workers had put up signs asking people not to re-shelve books they had taken book to leaf through.

The tall man stopped to rub his forehead. He had a headache again. They had been coming and going since sometime after Christmas. It was nearly April. He had no idea what to do about it. He had no one to really talk to about it. But Mark decided he wasn't going to dwell.

Not when there was a book to rescue from getting ruined! He strides forward with every intention of saving it from falling down onto some girl's head.
