Player (nickname/handle)/LJ: De Email: On File AIM (if you have one): On File Character Name: Matt Murdock/Daredevil Character LJ (if applicable): guardian_devil PB if using one: Comic scans. Character location/Home: New York City What are your plans for the character? To have fun, explore street-level crime and other things How are you planning on working them into the game? Daredevil is the protector of Hell’s Kitchen and will be found there. Matt Murdock is also a defense attorney and can be found by anyone wrongly accused of a crime. Is there anything from canon that you plan to change with that character?: I wasn’t fond of the crossover Mysterio did into his books, so I’d like to ignore that, please. What sort of plots to do you want to do with this character?: I’d like to do street-level stories, battles against the Hand and ninja-types, and maybe a bigger plot from time to time. Sample Post: Daredevil is midway through battering two men when pounding, hasty footsteps directly behind him give away the approach of another combatant. Rather than turn to face this newest threat, the Guardian Devil counts down in his head. Three… He punches one of the two men in front of him in the jaw, easily dislocating it, as he hears the heartbeat of the second man jump, telegraphic his intent to strike. The footsteps behind him are sending small shockwaves through the floor, and he can tell his latest attacker is only twenty feet away. Two… The second man’s strike is parried right, coupled with an old judo move that sends him off-balance. A season fighter would adjust and be ready to strike shortly, but this man will likely be off balance for about five seconds, maybe six, which is an eternity in combat. In any event, Daredevil knows he’ll back, but he decides to use the brief respect to address the man behind him with the metal pipe, the one who is now less than ten feet away and gearing up to swing. One... He grins, almost savagely as he steps back and drives his foot back and through the spot where the man’s stomach should be. His foot lands in a soggy midsection and he’s rewarded with the sharp outrush of breath as the man doubles over in pain, dropping the pipe. He grunts slightly, his senses scrambled a moment. Loud noises throw him off and the last thug in front of him sees an opening and takes it, landing a stiff right hook that nearly drops him. Daredevil corrects his own balance quickly and snap kicks the man in the face, ending the fight. Seven unconscious men and sirens getting close make this a good outing. There is still an hour or two left before sunrise. Maybe he can do a little more good before it’s time to be in court.
