Night fall is coming. Better find shelter before it arrives. [a long day of treking around the countryside is what any ninja needs to build up a good appetite, somewhere warm for a feed and a soft futon to rest to sleep the wearies of the day away, waking up to a fresh new start. it's only a few miles to the village ahead, picking up the pace enough to get to the outskirts just after sundown, walking around the streets in search for a street vendor to buy some food.]

[there he goes with his grabbing attempts, so that means it's time to run. or just head for the rooftops, that's a fun place to fight.] I just wanted to see if you'd waste your own power on saving people. I'd say I have the advantage now, the more people I target the more work you've got to do and the more opportunities I have to attack you. [taking advantage of your kindness, how rude. glances behind him, skidding to a halt, aiming to torch any little saplings following him. and maybe set a roof on fire as well. is counting on people fleeing with supplies now, and hopefully they'll be ambushed by Uchiha troops and they can gain extra supplies that way. won't send a signal to stop them from coming, because knowing his history with Hashirama, this fight could go on for a long time. that's what happens when you get two people as strong as them together.]

[can't keep on wasting his energy on these little things even though there is plenty left so he isn't in short supply right now. there has to be someone competent in there to put fires out who isn't a screaming mess. looks around and grab the one that is ushering people away from the building, telling him to take care of the fires, recruit people to help. he seems to understand and gets onto it so phew, that is on part one. now to get word to his men, not too far out from the outskirts but he had scouted ahead for supplies as well. from this distance they should know something is wrong and come heading in so the Uchihas will at least be cut off.] That won't be a problem anymore now stop being a coward and fight be direct.

[watches that jump, running around him to try and keep it from getting into a close quarters battle. needs a moment to recollect from all those fire shots, tossing out a few kunai at random, generally in Hashirama's direction. of course they have explosive tags on them so watch out for those, they sting. keeps running until he's got enough set up for quite an explosion. detonates them, causing quite a bit of debris and smoke suddenly. stands in the center of the smog, seeking out his enemy!]

[keeps an eye out on the tags, dodging each on the kunai that comes at his direction, except he was too focused on keeping an eye on them as well as Madara at the same time that he almost got caught in the trap.] ... [then realized that he was doing just before the blast went off. manages to get away but not without injury, burning some of the skin on his arm. its a little bit black and bloody, nothing too bad for him to handle. It would take a lot more than that to get rid of a Senju. this smoke cover is what he needs those, a couple of hand signals later, hand flat to the ground sending out some creepers to seek out where Madara is, moving underneath the smoke and dust so he shouldn't be able to see them. all they have to do it grab a hold of him and stop him from moving.]

	[finally got him. must make this quick before he cuts his way out of them. it is hard, takes a bit but knows Madara. he will work it out pretty quickly just as he would be able to sense him. makes a break and rushes through the left of the debris, shortening the gap quickly taking the first swing at him. this has got to connect unless he has already broken free.] (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[senses him, but a moment too late. steps back, but still feels the punch connect. growls in annoyance, swinging back. hand-to-hand is so barbaric, but that doesn't mean he can't do it when he needs to. prefers to revel in the skills he has, as it usually just impresses his enemies. so young but so talented!! but Hashirama's seen it all before, so no wonder he wants to take a swing at him. but hey, you like wood so much!? how's the old substitution trick feel. enjoy punching that log. steps back free of the smoke, laughing because it's such an oldie but goodie.] The Great Hashirama Senju! [taste the sarcasm.]

	Haven't you figured it out, Senju? There are no quick fights between us. We might as well take our time. Doesn't it feel good to have a worthy adversary?
