Night fall is coming. Better find shelter before it arrives. [a long day of treking around the countryside is what any ninja needs to build up a good appetite, somewhere warm for a feed and a soft futon to rest to sleep the wearies of the day away, waking up to a fresh new start. it's only a few miles to the village ahead, picking up the pace enough to get to the outskirts just after sundown, walking around the streets in search for a street vendor to buy some food.]

[you're not the only one wandering around without an entire clan following you. did the king lion thing and surveyed the area directly south to where his clan had recently set up camp. knew there was a village somewhere down here, and once located casually wanders the streets, asking the usual questions of who's in charge and do you need a hired army ... but it seems to be so far out in the middle of nowhere that the merchants only complain of occasional raiding of their carts, and none of the residents seem to fear invasion ... so perfect place to raid for supplies tomorrow and continue on their way. loves easy targets, because they always give up what's needed and don't waste time. valuable time that can be spent beating the Senju to the next village that needs assistance in their battles. stretches, finding a nice little place to sit and refuel at. idly glances back to the kitchen, assessing the amount of food they've got back there. definitely not enough for his entire clan, but between this place and a few others, they should get enough for a few days. looks like plenty of rice, not that they can complain about it. food is food, and rice is filling. maybe there's some cattle they can nab, get some rations of meat going around. treats himself to some sake, leaning back comfortably ... until he senses a foul odor. the stink of a Senju :| sits up, glancing over at the entrance, narrowing his eyes slightly. damn it, the Senju better not be planning to protect this village. needs those supplies. but why else would they be here? everywhere Uchiha goes, Senju follows and vice versa... which is all well and good when you're actually looking to fight them. has his clan to think about now. hopefully he can slink out undetected by Senju eyes ... but doubtful. Hashirama's probably already sensed he's around here somewhere. isn't exactly the easiest person to blend in. for now will continue to sit calmly and sip his sake, as if Hashirama Senju never existed. ah, a perfect world.]

[if there is an Uchiha around, it wouldn't take too long to sense him even if he was in a room filled with a hundred of the most powerful men in the nation, he could still home in on an Uchiha. one Uchiha particularly, Madara. what a stroke of luck, also not a good sign. he was hoping to get supplies to take back to his clansmen but if he was here then he must be after the same thing and payment was not going to be what the Uchiha would be doing.] How's the sake? [standing not too close but not too much at a distance behind him. isn't too worried about Madara trying to retaliate here of all places, both of them weren't that stupid to bring a clan rivalry into here where people would be involved. a Senju would beat an Uchiha fair and square in battle, not by using cheap tricks and tactics.] There is no breeze tonight, it is a shame, it would have went perfectly with a calming drink.

Either you are scouting or in need for a break. I'm never alone when I travel. You should know that. [looks around the room, noticing people seem wary of them now. would love for the place to clear out and scrap with him in here, but can't cause a stir in this village, not yet. still needs them to be unprepared.] If you've come to stock up, I'm afraid you're too late. My troops have already laid claim to this village, and we're not keen on feeding stray dogs. [it's okay to lie a little. has a feeling Hashirama won't bite on that story anyway, because even an idiot can see this place is totally at peace and nobody seems worried.]

That may be so [which he is not believing for a minute because they would be keeping their distance from Madara, not staying as close as they are.] but you wouldn't deny a man something to eat. What is the point when a man is not at his peak performance. [and that ramen looks delicious, will take some of that and pour some of the sake into the saucer, bring it to his lips for a sip.]

And I don't recall anything ever stating that one had to be pleasant toward a Senju. We've already staked our claim on this village, and while there's no invasion yet, I assure you my troops are waiting just on the outskirts. If you choose to move your own forward, we will not hesitate to engage you in battle. Which means all these innocent people will likely become casualties of war. You wouldn't want that, right?

You will never change Madara. Throwing your men into battle without correctly assessing the situation. How do you know that I am alone, my own clan could already be within the city. These people here are not cowering at your presense because they know they are under protection as an allied nation. Head first without recon, what a pitiful man you are. 	I don't jump for false claims. When there is a real threat, then you will know why that name follows wherever I go.
