1. The first time they met over burgers, the Hood and Crusader had a multi-block magic vs. might fight to stop Melissa from killing John King.
2. Accidentally discovering, during the fight, what had happened, the two of them stopped the meeting without anyone dying. John King is still in prison.
3. Sarah connected to Mel, as another total daddy's girl. It eventually took them to hell, literally, where the demon was defeated for good, and Parker Robbins' soul sent to purgatory, at least giving him a chance.
4. When Sarah disappeared, it took 3 years of magical research, especially difficult since she'd sworn off of black magic, but Melissa found Sarah on Exiles' Road, and joined her.
5. The two married in an alternate universe Boston, and continue to co-lead the Exiles, after all they'd done for one another.
