1. After being kicked out of his home and away from everything he knew, Ty saw Iris practicing her speed tricks, and kept up with her to talk.
2. Iris totally freaked out when she recognized Zoom tricks, and attacked him. He left, after a troubling manifestation.
3. Iris realized what she had done, and searched /everywhere/ for him, finally finding him in the middle of the desert where he figured he might not hurt anyone.
4. Iris had to grow up a lot to provide stabilization for him, despite a speedster's racing mind, but dedicated herself to it, helping him in joining the Titans.
5. It took forever for him to get her dad's permission, especially with Zoom's powers, but he persevered, and they're planning a December wedding.
