It's frightening. Knowing that you'll do anything for one person without even thinking about your own well-being. You're entangled, once you're in it there's no turning back. Because you can't.

But it's ... better than any drug. Better than the best sex you've ever had. The high is incomparable, and you don't even think about it ending, because you can't fathom it ever will. If it did ... you would shatter into a hundred pieces of glass. There would be no recovering.

You're drowning, but you're drowning in exaltation. You see them, you breathe them, everywhere you go. Your life is not complete until you're touching them. You can't go a day without them.

They are everything to you and everything you are.

I didn't expect to ever fall in love, so no, I didn't know. I only realized I was in love ... a long time after we'd already become physically intimate. It creeps up on you. He said something that made me realize I'd loved him for a long time, I just hadn't recognized it as such.

If I didn't see him for a week, I'd assume he was dead. We don't ever lose track of one another for that long. But hypothetically, if it happened, I would spend the entire week trying to get back to him.
