I need to speak to someone who has been, or is currently "in love."

What kind of love do you mean?

You mean to say there's different types?

There are many ways you can feel love. You can have love for family which I believe is the strongest of them all, so much that you would sacrifice anything for them.

Then there is the love for a friend to which some people would say is like family but it is not unconditional as people come and people go.

Lastly there is between two people in the way of romance. This one from what I have heard will mess with your head and make you do crazy stuff, act out in ways you would never thought you could do normally. It will fade away in the end as time goes on, or if it ends quickly, it can leave your emotions shattered.

So there is on various levels, just depends on which one you would like to know about.

Interesting. You believe the love for family is the strongest, but I believe I have only heard of the romantic type, the one which drives people to act out foolishly for some personal crusade of adoration. I do not believe something like love can exist between friends, so I will rule that out. It it the weakest of the three examples you have provided.

Tell me about love between family.

It's a strange feeling. No matter what, you will always feel strongly for your family members even if you are on shaky terms, if you have had a fight it will be the first thing to remind you how much you care for them with the feeling of remorse.

When they are gone, it hurts so bad like something is causing your chest to collapse. But at the same time, it was the love that you felt for them that helps you to continue on with life and cherish their memory.

They make you feel happy, content with yourself, bring a smile to your lips for no reason. It's something that can't really be put into words well as you can probably tell.

What if you have no family? Can you feel love for what isn't there?

It is possible. Sometimes, others are willing to open up their homes to those who don't have a family. It is not something that happens straight away, sometimes it doesn't happen at all but if you are willing, you can find a family in them.

It doesn't make sense.

Why is that?

How do you find family in those who are not related by blood? What you have said goes against the definition of the term. Even as a substitute, it will never be the equal.

It is true that they will not compare to the ones related by blood, but if you are open to accept, they will be as close as if they were your own.

It is not something I will ever know, so I will refrain from making the topic personal again.

Do you know anybody who has experienced love in a romantic way?

Not anyone who has gone into finer details about it.

Is it normally something people hide?

Depends on the person, the love they have. Some people will be quite vocal about it and others are reserved. Sometimes, love is forbidden around here so they have no choice to remain quiet.

Have you ever seen romantic love, without knowing the people?

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Just in the street being openly affectionate, holding hands, kissing. That is about as romantic as I've witnessed with my own two eyes.

You do get the occasional people online that will go on about romance and brag how much they are in love but you can say and be whoever you want online. So that isn't exactly as confirmed romantic love.

Ah. I did not think of that variable. Some of my existing data may be skewed already.

If you want to get it accurate, go out and find a place to sit down and watch for a day. It should give you some extra insight into it.

I do that on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday mornings and nights. I have recorded data from this source already. I was seeking personal insight this time.
