[Hexed Private to Hermione]

Still feeling six feet off of the ground from last night?...Hee! I am so happy for you, can I say that for the hundredth time?

Anyway. Um. Best friend Mione? I have a huge huge favor to ask of you--and it all boils down to, Fred Weasley is an Incompetent Git Machine.

So Fred and Angelina have been going together and...by some miracle, she seems to really love him, so Fred decided that perhaps treating her with a spot of specialness might be appropriate, and he'd like to buy her a nice piece of jewelry.

And this is Fred--and he has the originality of a mandrake--he wants to get Angelina a locket like the one Ron got you, since he saw that? And when he tried to describe it to Mum, Mum nearly brained him with a frying pot, Fred was so thick: he said, and I do quote, "It's a locket. You know. One of those."

Therefore, Mum humbly requests that you lend her the locket for a day so she can take it to the jewelry shoppe on Diagon Alley. Would that be okay? I really love Angelina and would love for Fred to show her at least one reason to stick it out with a prat like him. Harry said that we could use Hedwig, so if you gave it to him, he'd have Hedwig zoom down and back, with specific instructions to peck Mum half to death if any harm comes to it.

Please? Pleeease? You should still be on cloud nine, please be a little less skeptical than usual?

He was actually squealing and jumping up and down? Goodness At least he managed to keep his composure in the common room; those few younger years remaining behind would likely have been traumatized otherwise.

Perhaps only a little, but I'm content enough to sit here and write about it.
