1) Johnny Freeman, the oldest, has a strong touch of his grandfather. It manifested as a streak of blond hair.

2) The Twins, Mary and Zee, are both aspiring actresses. One of the (and they won't cop to who) recreated an picture their mom took.

3) Johnny was the first to manifest magical abilities. He is taking after Uncle Zach, but with a touch of sinister: his suits are black with red highlights, and his shows are more horror oriented.

4) All of the children are fans of Bela Lugosi. They all bugged their mother to try and talk with him on several occasions.

5) Johnny isn't intentionally after his grandfather. He was named after Jonathan Kent.

1) When they first met, Michael called Dex "Conan" because Dex did remind Michael of the barbarian. But it was not the movie version but the original book version that he was reminded of.

2) After Blackest Night, Dex and Michael began to have regular movie nights. They would argue and bicker the whole time, but it became a tradition.

3) The two men argue constantly, but they have never once thrown a punch at one another. Unless they were sparring (Dex won most of those).

4) One fight ended up with the villain gloating, only to be knocked out by a punch to the face from both.

5) Michael really doesn't like beer, but he'll be the first to offer to get some more.

1) They were dating but didn't get serious until after Will dealt with his anxiety issues afterwards.

2) While Will continued to be (mostly) pure, after the anxiety was cleared there was many a time he and Avia would sneak off for "personal time"

3) Will, like all other potential boyfriends for the Free daughters, was challenged to spar with Barda. Will lost and ended up with a broken arm and nose.

4) However, Will managed to get Bardas respect by some clever thinking: He agreed not to be Shazam in the fight. He said nothing about calling down the lightning.

5)It would be years before there was a marriage. Like the relationship, it was initiated by Avia.

1) The first time they met face to face outside of costume was a fluke: Will had come into Gotham to try out one of their ice cream parlors (and their Blueberry Cheesecake Chunk) and Terry happened to take Dana there. This would be the second time Will would spill his favorite ice cream on a fellow hero.

2) This happened the same day a magician took control of several of the YJLA members. Will and Terry together fought off the controlled members of the YJLA

3) The Wisdom of Socrates clue Will into Terrys secret identity. Will said nothing but as a hint offered to buy him the ice cream he spilled on Terry.

4) Terry wanted to be suspicious of Will. He tried to. But like with Jon and Corrina, Will seemed to just become a part of his life.

5) After the revelation of the identities, the two could be seen often together, hanging out. Bruce compared the two boys to "Tim and Conner."

1) Mitzi, with her parentage, has quite a bit of connection to the elementals. This includes Michaels mystical element.

2) When Mitzi first approached Michael about releasing the Fire elemental aspect of his powers, he resisted the idea. Some time talking (and a little assistance from Dex's liquor)had Michael change his mind.

3) When the Fire elemental aspect of Michal was released, he lost many of the creation abilities. He did regain them, but he refused to speak to Mitzi for almost a year.

4) Even with the year gone, Michael came to appreciate what Mitzi had done for him. He eventually changed his codename to Phoebus and sought Mitzi out. They began dating.

5) Mitzi had to watch in horror as the newly reformed Justice League fought against supervillains, only to see a nuclear weapon was dropped on them all, killing most of the people there. Including Michael.

1) Their first time was a spur of the moment decision. The two were on a date on an island in the Aegean, and one thing led to another.

2) Unbeknownst to Lily, Will had some anxiety issues. He managed to swallow them and proceed.

3) The first time was them exploring, touching, getting to know one another physically. They took their time and made sure to enjoy one another without their powers.

4) Once they were done, they decided to try it with their powers. After almost sinking the island, they went back to normal.

5) They were caught not too long afterwards. The near sinking of the island caught the attention of Paradise island. This led to a very awkward meeting between Lily, Will, and Donna.

1) Her first words to him were: "This kind of crap is supposed to happen to Metropolis!" This is because their first meeting was because of a Starro attack on Gotham.

2) After the attack, Michael helped coordinate the repairs in Gotham. Maxine would come downtown to volunteer, and they ran into one another again on their respective breaks.

3) They flirted on occasion, but they never got serious. They enjoyed themselves too much as friends.

4) Whenever Michael said something stupid, Maxine would punch him in the arm. Only once did Michael say something completely offensive around her. It ended up with Michael having a black eye and Maxine covered in a vicious goo.

5) After the goo incident, Maxine and Michael didn't talk to each other for a month. What ended the month of isolation? Another alien invasion.

1) After the "incident" which first had Ash and Michael meet, Michael wanted to have nothing to do with her. It was their second meeting (a dual mission with the YJLA and Titans East) that he began to appreciate having her around

2) Ash, for as much as she tried not to think about it, found herself crushing on the older boy. She didn't know why at first. Then when she was captured by Sea Devil and she learned Michael was the first to volunteer, she knew why.

3) When the friendship seemed to inch closer and closer to romance, Michael kept denying it. He would say "she's too young", "I'm not ready for a relationship", or "we're friends; it's fine".

4) When Ash confessed her feelings, several of Michaels arguments were moot: Ash was now 18, Michael was over his interest in Traya, and they had all but been dating for a few months. Ash confessing made their relationship official.

5) A year into their relationship, there were bets placed on the two getting married within the next year. The two would have been fine with putting off for a little bit longer, if it weren't for Sea Devil almost killing Ash. As soon as Ash recovered, Michael asked her to marry him

1) Will didn't know what to make of the excitable musclebound alien. He had come to visit Avia while Will was there, and he wanted to get some greasy food.

Will offered to take him and introduce him to the wonders of blueberry cheesecake chunk ice cream.

2) Martians have chocos. Apparently, Varons people had a weakness for cheesecake. Will spent the next few days cleaning up after Varon.

3) Varon, knowing what he did was unacceptable due to his studies of Earth, offered to take Will to his planet and let him taste some of his delicacies and speak with the Elders. Will accepted.

4) While Will never did care for the "delicacies" presented to him on Valeron, he turned out to be a rather effective envoy.

5) Will and Varon can only hang out occasionally, since Wills on Earth and Varon is on Valeron, but whenever one is in the others neighborhood they are sure to hang out.

1) This happened during a time where Riley was on an extended time mission. This means he was gone for months without word and presumed dead. Michael has a weakness for mourning girls, which was what Dinah was. So Michael offered to get her mind off of it.

2) Michael took Dinah to the Guggenheim. Dinah couldn't help but giggle at the goofy name but at least the pictures were pretty.

3) Dinah vetoed the idea of the fancy restaurant. They went for some New York style pizza. It was delicious.

4) Michael tried to get Dinah to relax, to get her mind off of Riley disappearing. It didn't work. The last hour of the date was him holding her on top of a Kord building as she cried.

5) There was no real chance of this happening again, not with Dinah as messed up as she was. So, in lieu of a "second date" their second time together was to make a small gold figurine of Riley, for Dinah to hold until Riley came back.

1) Will had fallen asleep in the Brownstone and Nic volunteered to get him up for the activities. Nic went to shake Will awake when Will muttered something in his sleep. Will denies this, but Nic proudly proclaims he muttered "Nic..."

Will was woken up by Nic sticking her tongue down his throat.

2) Will and Nics first date was at Dennys.

Why Dennys? Baconalia.

3) After a month of dating (and lots of trips for bacon), Will began to gain back the weight he had lost so long ago. This time, he took advantage of the Brownstones gym.

A few months of this, and the effect was noticable. This led to Nic "ambushing" her boyfriend in the gym. Two guesses as to what happened next.

4) Will damn near got himself killed when the Thanagarians invaded Earth and took Nic. Nic almost broke off the relationship because she didn't want Will hurt anymroe because of her. Will managed to talk her out of it.

Will had to deal with more bruises after that, but he didn't mind one bit.

5) When the time came for the parents to meet, it was less of a dinner together and more of a JSA members reunion that Mary and Freddy were invited. to. Will and Nic had to deal with their parents yukking it up withall their old comrades.

Nic and Will spent most of that time on the roof, looking up at the sky.

1) It took Will two tries, three aborted phone calls, and finally a face-to-face talk in order to ask Asherah out (he always insisted on using her full name). Ash hid behind her hair, but the small smile was obvious.

2) Will, being the thorough young man he is, tried to find something that would fit their tastes. After a few hours, he gives up and invites Ash to downtown Fawcett.

3) Ash is very much amused by the cute stutter-prone boy. He was very nice and polite. He had an odd taste in food. She didn't much care for the ice-cream. It was good, but she preferred chocolate.

4) On the way back, the long day of walking and being awya from water takes its toll on Ash. She falls asleep in Wills arms while he is flying her home.

5) When Will took Ash back to the Titans East tower he is ambushed by several of the people there, all of them being (over)protective of Ash. Only one person isn't.

Pippi is part of the reason why Will dares come back to ask for a second date.

1) Dinadans father and Michaels uncle were good friends as well as coworkers. Michael and Din? Not so much. Dins reserved nature and Michaels blunt nature rarely had them interact for most of their early careers.

2) What brought the two together was the attempted bombing of Willis Tower by Kobra. Dins knowledge of the chemicals used combined with Michaels knowledge of architecture and engineering allowed them to find the location of the bomb and defuse it before any damage was done.

3)After the Willis Tower incident, the two began to work together professionally, with Michael taking time out of his architecture firm to help manufacture some of the materials Din needed.

4) Michael was the first name chosen to be drawn as a person on duty for Dins wedding.

There was indeed an attack, but with Michaels stubborn efforts (and more than a little help from Dex), Dins wedding went off without a hitch. They even got a little snow.

In July.

In Las Vegas.

5) The act that cemented Din and Michaels friendship came when someone tried to draw the elemental out of the Matrix and destabilized it. Din was able to enter into the Matrix and repair it from within, with the two members of Firestorm assisting.

1)"Do you have any sevens?"

"Go fish."

*Blush* "How did our girlfriends talk us into strip Go Fish?"

*:}* "You don't hear them complaining, do you?"

2) The charity race they had ended just about as well as all the others: ruined by obnoxious villains. Steven enjoyed the run nonetheless and they decided to make it a yearly thing. Jon was joining in on the next one, though.

3) Will had two options when going into Stevens bachelor party: As someone having a fun time or as the guinea pig for whatever the strippers wanted.

4) Will was a Groomsman for Steven the day he and Mickey tied the knot. And unbeknownst to Will, Steven arranged it for Avia to get the bouquet.

5) Something bad about marrying a Rayner: Major Force always comes back to haunt you. Something good about being a good friend of a Marvel? Having someone to hold said Major while you rip the Speed out of him and leave him a statue.*

*No Rayners, Garricks, or Freemans were harmed in this future.

1) Their first meeting involved a touchy skiff, a whiny engine, and a busted shop garage door.

If anyone asked what happened, they will look at one another and laugh. Inezia will also turn a little red.

2) When the two started hanging out more often, a certain blond friend of Jonathans became depressed. Jonathan was oblivious. Inezia was not.

Jonathan and Virginas first date went off without a hitch. A curious and close following hawk made sure of this.

3) Jonathan has tried all he could to get Inezia interested in mechanics and electronics, even considering the "incident" that made them friends. At least he's making progress in the literacy front, even if Inezia and the tablet he built don't agree with one another.

4) During Parents Day, Jonathan made sure that Inezia and Madame Macabre met one another. There is no actual word so far as to plans, but the madame has made sure to ask more about the curious little girl.

Two teachers were better than one.

5) In a supervillain attack on the Academy, Inezia and Jonathan went back to back several times, with Inezia using her daggers and Jonathan swinging a great big wrench.

Their time in Gym in the armed combat section helped out, even if it was a wrench and not a mace Jonathan was using.

1) Joey annoyed the hell out of Michael. No two ways about it. And Michael let him know that.

So why did Michael agree to this inter-team trade idea that the JLA came up with? Michael was curious about Joey. and his ability to do much the same Michael could with his own body, in addition to creating carbon.

2) "Oh, come on, man! This is a great idea!"

"No. Nothing about this idea is great."

"You pansy."

*Glare* "..."

*Glare back* "You know you are, Choi."

"Give me that damn camera. If Terra kills or tries to kill me, I'll make sure she knows you're involved."

3) The incident above lands them both on temporary suspension from their respective teams. The two spend most of the time on said suspension sniping at one another for it.

This quickly degenerates into an insult contest between the two. When the suspension is over, it turns out the contest is the talk of the community. And each team claims their member won.

4) They become a very workable duo, not unlike some of their predecessors. They also snip banter at one another whenever they get a chance. Their nicknames for one another when they get to the playful insults? "Stoner Ben" for Joey and "Rufio" for Michael.

5) "Hey. Mike?"

"What did you do?"

"I...uhhh...I may have asked the big one."

"What? As in...marriage?"

"Uhhh, yeah. So, ummm..."

"Drinks or Vegas trip?"

"Vegas. Definitely Vegas."

1) They meet when Will takes his college trip, which is to Berkley (Avia may have talked him into seeing the campus there) and Max was one of the people who "volunteered" to take the prospective students around. Will was rather insistent on asking questions. Max thought the young man earnest, if a bit annoying.

2) The connection wasn't made until Max took a closer look at Will. The body language and mannerisms were eerily similar, but the difference in body types between the new Captain Marvel and Will threw him off until the students girlfriend came by. The way he held himself was now too close to be questioned.

3)Will, on the other hand, was delightfully unaware of Max's lineage until one of the higher up administrators of the school berated Max in front of Will using Maxs full name.

4) Will had changed his mind as to the school he wished to go to, but he brought Max Blueberry Cheesecake Chunk Ice Cream as a way to apologize for the jerk administrator.

5) The friendship was cemented when Max was invited to dinner with the Freemans, with Uncle Billy who happened to be "visiting" at the same time.

Although he couldn't speak for his Grandfather, Max had no problem making his personal peace with the Batsons and Freemans.

1) Michael and Mikey first met at a conference. Mikey was there showing off some of his designs for robotics, while Michael was there as a co-developer (sort of: Michael provided the raw materials for it) of a building structure technique that would allow buildings to be bigger by up several dozen feet.

2) M&M (as Cat teasingly named the duo) worked on many upgrades to the various teams headquarters. However, neither was allowed to touch the others headquarters.

3)Mikey loved having a friend who could manufacture alloys with just a thought. So, whenever STRIPE gets wrecked or in need of an upgrade, a single call will get him the material.

Although he thinks Michael is keeping a running tab of favors.

4) Indeed Michael does, and Michael plans to call them all in for Jais bachelor party. As an apology.

5) Michael is the architect. Mikey is the engineer. Do not get involved unless you know the subject, or your head will explode.

1) Michael hates dimensional travel, but he's glad that he ended up in the same universe the Avengers came from. They even introduced him to a kid who's a lot like him in terms of powers.

Michael has a feeling that this isn't a "Hey you guys are similar you should meet" as it is a "Watch the kid because we trust you" one, though. And he just jabbers on.

2) Mason loves the fact that the new guy is short like him and has the same kind of powers. The flaming head is weird and the guy talks to himself a lot, but overall he's funny and cool!

He keeps muttering in Chinese, though...

3) Mason is astounded when Michael opens up the Matrix to him. His first request when being joined?

"Can we make fireworks? OOOH! What about working on a dirtbike? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH!"

Mason went on for half an hour, listing off all the things he wanted to do.

4) Michael became a maturing force in Masons life. He was certainly the same fun-loving and optimistic guy that he always was, but with the older transmuter and the spare time he spent in the Matrix made him more introspective, more willing to think things through and not be brash.

The first time this happened, Jordan was convinced Michael had somehow hidden his real brother.

5) Once contact was re-established with Michaels world, Michael gave Mason a present: a pendant with his very own hero symbol on it.

Mason is determined to visit Michael soon and return the favor.
