A little about: Evie was orphaned at a young age, her parents killed in a plane crash during their anniversary. Having no relatives, she went to live at the Hull House orphanage, which was a recruiting house for Department H. During a recruiting drive, the agents noticed Evie testing high in the psionics categories and decided to remove her for training in Gamma Flight. This did not go as planned, however, since agents working for Department K abducted several of Department H's candidates and took them to be experimented on and trained by Weapon X. Evie was among the abducted and was subject to numerous tests and experiments that left her mentally scarred; compounded by the emotional and sometimes physical abuse of the staff and security personnel - leaving her with limited ability to vocalize herself and making her wary of people in general.
