Everyone (and yes, that includes you) should take an hour to stand outside tonight and watch the fireworks show. I don't care where you are, you should be able to see them. Just look up.
While we're on the subject of fireworks, everyone be safe this year. Try not to burn anything down, and let's not have a repeat of last year, shall we? For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, I'll just say that throwing smoke bombs through the windows at city hall is not any way to endear yourself to law enforcement officials.
Happy Fourth, everyone!

It's a busy time of year, ladies and gentlemen! Graduation is right around the corner, but before that, everyone should clear their calendars for this year's Spring Production of Arsenic and Old Lace. For more information, direct your attention to the school's website.
On a broader scope, the city-wide clean up will be held this weekend, in front of City Hall. I'd also like to take this chance to remind everyone of the Sand Sculpting Contest to be held on May 23. Registration opens soon, and it's never to early to start practicing.
As always, my office doors (both of them) are always open, for anyone who has questions or concerns.
