Finally on time?

Being a flash, visitors from other times weren't as big a surprise as it would be for others. Still, when there's an odd flash of light Jai isn't sure what to expect. Probably not this though.

	Jai sighed. "Yeah well it sounded like it was coming this way..." As he speaks there's a distinct stomp that starts, though it's coming from the opposite direction of the roar. "I didn't bring us anywhere! Bright light dragged us, get with the program," he said and ignored the whack in the arm. Oh great, a triceratops charging this way. Wait...weren't they herbivorous? And did that thing even notice them?

The even louder crashing and running-stomping gave them the answer. "Irey...I think it's time to run," he said quietly as he saw what the triceratops was running from. A T-Rex of course, because apparently they couldn't have been dragged to this era without encountering one.

The T-Rex didn't seem to notice them too much, but one swing of its tail got awfully close to the twins. Not too far from the dino fight, Iris and Jai ran into...a group of waiting velociraptors.

They looked nearly nothing like they did in Jurassic Park, being half their height and with feathers, but the people dashing straight through them had the group screech and give chase to the running duo.

"Come on, nobody wants to live through Jurassic Park for real."

Not even velociraptors luckily, so while it was a bit troublesome to weave through dinos and the trees, it wasn't anything they didn't do regularly. Okay fine, the running from dinos wasn't a usual thing.

But somehow after a short run through the trees (real short by their standards), they had to screech to a stop because...cliff. No running off cliffs. "We'll double back, long as we keep moving nothing can touch us." Which was very true. Problem was if they had to do this too long.

	Jai sighed at his sister, yes even while running to avoid dinosaurs they could do this sort of stuff. "No, but I'm not fishing you out of some river or wherever you crash into if you mess up." "Okay, yeah it was," Jai laughed. "But we still have to find out how to get out of-" Cue flash of blinding light that sucked them in and then spit them out, blinded and disoriented, on a really hard rather desert-like surface.

Jai rubbed his head as he sat up, the dust that got kicked up from their landing obscured his view for a moment before he heard the sound of cocking guns. "Where'd y'all pop out of, strangers? And what makes ya think you can do it on our turf?"

Turned out they were surrounded by armed men on horses, that looked awfully like wild west bandits. Great.

The head of the outlaw gang looked to one of the others with a smile, and the other snickered. He turned back to the twins and chuckled. "Yeah, nearest town is a few days down that way," he said and gestured with his gun to a direction in the distance before his grin got more sinister. "You'll need to know that seein' how you two are gonna have to walk all that way after you hand over your stuff. Can't have you sitting around on our turf without a little tax now can we?" The other men surrounding them on horses laughed. "So stuff in a pile and we'll let you walk away with your skins."

Jai looked at Iris, then at one of the lassos of one of the bandits before looking back at her. "3, 2, 1..."

"Do I look like I care?" The bandit retorted and cocked his gun. But the twins were already off, Jai grabbing a lasso and running around the group, wrapping up all of them at the level of their horses legs up. Confused shouts from the bandits filled the air, as they couldn't figure what was going on. Some even fired randomly outside their little circle, hoping to hit one of the speedy twins.

	Superspeed high five time! Jai swiped a hat from one of the bandits and shook it out before putting it on his head. "Let's head in the general direction of the town they pointed us to." He tipped the cowboy hat to the bandits. "Later cowboys." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
