Thomas had, in his youth, aspired to be a famous musician, however those dreams never really made it off the ground. He was never a member of any band, only a lone guitarist blessed with an angel's voice. He played venues across Los Angeles (including street corners) before deciding to try his luck on the East Coast. Finding no success there, he accepted a job on board the cruise ship Hnakra to play with the house band. This fateful decision has left him alone, thousands of miles from home-- though really, it's not that different to what he's used to.
