Tribe: Andi Aave, tree spirits or dryads which exist in some of the trees on the island.
Home: Nomadic, but can often be found in the Black Woods
Age: You'd have to cut into her and count the rings.
Athe is a nymph born of a white birch. In her nymph form she appears almost human; a smaller, slighter girl with pale skin dotted with leaves, green hair and green eyes. She has a scar across her chest where an inconsiderate human once carved his name into her while she was in tree form. Her screams were not recognized, because Athe only speaks the language of tree. If you do not understand tree, you hear her voice only as rustling leaves. If you do not speak tree, she doesn't understand you. Her tree form is a slender white birch, and she will revert to this form when fearful, startled, or sleeping. She is an intensely curious creature and often observes the other inhabitants of the island from a safe distance.
