I would go on about how much I enjoyed myself at Hogsmeade, but the general consensus is that most everyone is sick and tired of hearing about it and would rather not listen to anymore tellings of it. I suppose I could consent to that given I didn't really do very much - just wandered around, bought a bit of candy, and a new quill. Other than that, it was uneventful.

There was an owl today from my dad. Apparently my aunt, who isn't exactly the best person in the world, is coming to visit him. She said that he needs some proper female company and for the house to have her kind of influence on it. Meaning, when I go home for Christmas, I expect everything will be much different than when I left it a few weeks ago. She nags him so much and I know he's going to try and work as late as he possibly can at the Ministry to avoid her oppressive company. Hopefully, for his sake, she doesn't stay very long.

I wouldn't mind hearing a fascinating tale about your adventures at Hogsmeade.

I hope so, too.

I wouldn't exactly call it a fascinating tale. What I originally wrote was the extent of what I did before coming back. It'd probably bore you to death or something.

It takes a lot to bore me to death.

So I'm starting to learn.

I'm working on it. It's on my list of things to do.

Good. I'll look forward to when it happens.

You'll have to continue prompting me and helping me remember along the way though. Otherwise I'm likely to not learn or forget.

I've been told that I'm a good stimulus for the brain.

Oh? I guess I'll have to put that to the test as I try to figure you out.

You'll see, your body brain will be happily ticking away when you're around me.

Most people who say they are sick of it are just annoyed that they didn't have a good time at Hogsmeade. I think.

I hope that doesn't ruin your Christmas holiday...

Which is unfortunately their loss. Did you have a good time at least?

Dad will probably put the both of us to work putting things back in order the way they originally were, so the holiday wouldn't really be ruined. It'd just be filled with a bit of hard work.

That does sound very uneventful. But alas! -- it was much more than I did. I didn't go to Hogsmeade this time. Too much work to do.

Oh, bummer. I'm glad all of my relatives are too busy with their lives to give a damn about me and my dad.
