Sometimes I forget how much I miss being home and how quiet it is here. Well, quiet is relative when I go into town with all the tourists flocking here for a few days before heading across the channel, but I've gotten as used to it as I can over the years. It was almost clear enough to see France today - I tried to take pictures though, unfortunately, I couldn't zoom in close enough to get a clear shot. Perhaps another day when there's less clouds and less wind. I also need to remember to bring gloves; it's not too terribly cold (not like at Hogwarts, anyway), but the wind is what really does it.

Dad doesn't know I found out, but apparently he's getting me a cat for Christmas, one that I can take back to school with me.

I think that's because they're worried that I'll start going mad and ripping off my clothing. Better safe than sorry, I suppose. Aw, please? Pretty please?

Your cat could eat that, too. As disturbing as it is.

Definitely better safe than sorry. They might think something's wrong if you started doing that. Absolutely no pinching or I'll hex you into next week.

I'd rather it not, actually! That's disgusting.

It's happened once, it can always happen again. Be on high alert, yeah? That doesn't sound so bad, as long as next week is pleasant.

Perhaps we should talk about something not so disgusting. Like me? Or you! Let's talk about you.

I'll be sure to batton down all the hatches and make sure the alarm is in place. Just in case. And no, it won't be pleasant. The next week will be full of thunderstorms that have gale winds and lots of rain. Lightening too.

There's nothing to talk about where I'm concerned, so it's best that we talk about you. That's s subject we could never tire of.
