I enjoyed having an extra day off classes this week. I got my homework done early and can now just enjoy the weekend instead of worrying about it later. They should give us days off more often for that reason; we'd all be much more happier, I think.

Those are brill, Orla. Used a muggle camera, did you?

Of course I did, they're only the best kind. Wizarding cameras are still several decades behind muggle ones with the exception of being able to make moving pictures.

Oi that's beautiful Orla. You really have a talent for that.

And I'll take a day off any day.

It's just something I play around with, but thank you. That's really nice of you to say.

I think almost anyone would take a day off, even those of us who don't mind going to classes and everything.

It's not nice - it's true.

How is our mate, the Squid? Is he up to any new tricks?

Still, it's a nice thing to say anyway.

I saw him just a few days ago and he seems to be doing well enough. He's still not doing any tricks, the lazy thing.

Hey! Do you lot not know how to clean up after yourselves?

I know how to clean up after myself, but sometimes people forget. And our laundry hasn't been done either, you know. And dust is collecting everywhere and our beds and sheets have been cleaned.

Hello, love. Your shots are beautiful, as always. I'm not surprised. I doubt you can make a shot that's less than amazing if you tried...

I miss you. Why haven't we talked in a long while?

Oh, you should see the piles I've discarded over the years. Some were really, really dreadful.

You've been busy and I have been a bit busy too. Sorry?

It's all part of the process. No one can get good at anything in a heartbeat. It takes practice and more practice...

I have? Alright, I have. Sorry.
But you shouldn't apologize. I can't hold something like this against you, love. You can, however, make it up to me by letting me take you out? I know this place in this town called Hogsmeade. It's called the Three Broomsticks. Heard they serve a wicked glass of butterbeer...

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

And even more practice. I know, I know. You're starting to sound like my dad.

I've heard rumours about that place and how good their butterbeers are. That being said, I think I'll have to accept your very gracious offer. So long as you buy the first rounds and let me get the second rounds myself.

... I'm guessing that's a good thing?

Excellent. I knew you couldn't resist giving in. You've just put me in an amazingly good mood. I'll get that first AND second rounds. Sound good?

You've met my dad once or twice, it's considered a compliment.

Well, it's almost nearly impossible saying not to you sometimes, though making you get both rounds will make me feel bad. At least let me help with some part of it, even if it's some candy from Honeydukes.

Good to know.

I know. I'm irresistible, see. It just can't be helped.
Oh, you know how weak I get when we're talking about sweets! Alright, candy would keep me very sated... then eventually hyper.

No it really can't be helped, though good thing I have years of practice attempting to do so. I'm not sure how successful I am though since I can never say no otherwise.

Good thing you'll be returning to the boy's side later; they can deal with you bouncing off the walls.

Attempting here, being the operative word of course. Surely, you still haven't quite mastered the art of resisting me. It's something that takes more than mere years to perfect, I'm afraid.

Bouncing off the walls? How did you know I have plans of doing that? AM I that transparent?! Oh, Good Merlin. Though, I still doubt anyone could handle me...

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]elegantchaos
2008-02-03 04:38 pm UTC (link)
Of course. I think I may just throw in the towel and give up trying to do so though, especially after so many failed attempts.

No, I just believe that I know you well enough, and no one can handle you.

Ah. So young and innocent. Never give up, love. You have your whole life to perfect it. Need I say that I might just enjoy every minute of it?

Too true. You still adore me though. Admit it!

Maybe if they gave us a small break more often there'd be less arguing. I do agree though, it was nice to have the day off.

I like your pictures. Just out of curiosity, where're those flowers? I think I've seen them before but I can't quite place where.

Wouldn't they then have to extend the school year? Either way, I'd take it willingly.

You can't tell anyone this, but it was just barely into the forbidden forest. Right on the border of it.
