Been an interesting year for us. Started out, truth be told, I didn't know how to perceive you. You know how it is. He said, she said. There was a separation for a while, but we got to talking again after you came back, and I'm glad we did. You said you'd changed; I wasn't sure I believed it, honestly, but really, giving you a second chance would be the only way I'd find out. And I really have seen a change between who you are now and who you were at the beginning of the year, and you continue to shine every day. People can say what they want, but the past is the past, and who you are now is a beautiful person indeed. I only hope in time that the uncertain ones will see it, too. But if they don't, it isn't a big deal. You just keep being you, because I love you just the way you are.
