Bot: *amused little smirk.* Yes. *he'll bring up his other hand to put Deckard on his feet in a palm rather than holding him trapped in a hand.* I didn't realize humans could give their robots sentience. I'd heard rumors of it, but by the time I made my way to this country to see for myself...well... *disappointed shrug.*

Deckard: Thank you. It's...not common, at least not yet. I'm hoping one day there will be more of us. *whoa...back up* Wait...you /weren't/ built by humans?

Bot: Nope. Made and spark by my own kind on Cybertron. Name's Subzero, scientist, inventor, and explorer at your service. This is Karaf. *nods at the dragon.*

Deckard: *shocked* You're an /alien/ robot? That...that sounds like there's a whole /race/ of- *catches himself, hunching a bit* I-I'm sorry. I don't mean to be rude. I'm very pleased to meet you both, Subzero-san, Karaf-sama. *nnnnnnope, quietly did /not/ give his name...since revealing /who/ he is would also betray /what/ he is...not that he can think of anyone these two could tell without creating problems for themselves...*

Zero: *amused* There is a whole race of sentient robots. *hadtilts, studying the tiny bot in his hand.* You...remind me... Is your name Deckard, by chance?

Deckard:  ................ *considers lying for a moment...but...gaze drops*  It is.  I'm afraid I'm not here legally.  *looks up*  You came here looking for us, for the Brave Police...?

Kage: *o-okay, he can't keep completely neutral, not with seeing Deckard so.../small/. He has a bit of a funny look on his face.* What happened to you?

Deckard: *small, wry grin* I might ask the same of you. *then…gaze drops away in shame* We . . . we failed. A lot of things happened, our boss was killed in the process . . . we were . . . deemed too dangerous after all and destroyed . . . but a few people decided to give- *he starts to just say "me", trying to protect the others by not letting on that they're okay…but he…he can't, he can't keep Maru out of this, not with Kage here and alive as well*-decided to give us a second chance. New, smaller bodies were built for us in secret, much easier to hide and we can run on plain water instead of needing gasoline. As far as anyone outside of a few know, our Super AI chips were turned over to authorities and destroyed.

Deckard: ……………….I can't betray the location of my team, but I'll bring Shadowmaru to you. *glances around* Or to a neutral location if you'd prefer?

Kage: *pained expression, /upset/, though not really at Deckard. He...he nods, looking away so Deckard (hopefully) won't feel like that scowl is directed at him.*
Zero: .........Here is fine. I have a feeling you have as little chance of revealing us as we have of revealing you.
Kage: *wings twitch, he...he doesn't want to wait to see Maru...and yet he's afraid to...his brother is going to be in this tiny shell now too, isn't he.*

Deckard: *shakes his head at Zero, though he's more studying Kage* If we're found, we'll be destroyed, and at least four people could face criminal charges.

Kage: *looking off into the darkness...gaze slides back to Zero.*
Zero: We'll not risk anyone. If they are willing to destroy you, and Kagerou, their own creations, I can mt say I want to learn what they'd do to me, or Karaf. I understand he'd be seen as something sacred here, but what of elsewhere? This world has as many stories of killing dragons as worshiping them, perhaps more. As I said, you have no one outside of those who already know your secret to tell our secret to, just as the three of us have no one else to tell your secret to. ....will you let me fix your leg, and then you can lead your team here? Or as many as you're comfortable bringing.
Kage: *wings droop a little, some of the tension leaving him.* I won't betray anyone who's helped you Deckard. Even if it /were/ safe for you, it is not safe for me.
