Brief History:
Joy has had a very ordinary life. Two parents and an older sister that she gets along with fairly well live in her hometown a couple of hours away from Isle of Palms, though the distance separates them emotionally, as well as physically. But Joy dates and has a career and life has been pretty good to her so far. Even superpowers didn't ruffle her all that much - she's learned to take it in stride. Boring, right?
This is where Joy's life gets interesting.
