Diana woke up first with a content sigh. The demon she just met was still asleep, holding her in his arms as though she were something precious to him. The night had been a rough one for him with many ups and downs, and the psychologist in Diana was a tad bit worried about that. This kind man had more stress and anxiety than a small dog in a room filled with kindergarteners! No one should be that stressed out or anxious!
Trying to be as quiet as possible, she slipped out from Dolemeck's arms and put on the top of his "moo cow" PJ's. It was hard for her not to smile back at his sleeping form, as there was just something special about him. Perhaps what she told Cyndi was true, he was a keeper despite his issues.
After another half hour, Dolemeck awoke to the smell of food. He gave off a low groan while sitting up in bed, his hands rubbing at his face. Last night did not happen, did it? As his green eyes looked about the room, he realized it pretty much did. While feeling somewhat more relaxed now, there was still a ting of guilt over what he had done. Though even he knew it was due to his strict catholic upbringing that he felt that way.
"Oh, you finally woke up!" Dolemeck raised an eyebrow as he heard a voice coming from the small kitchen in the rather lavish hotel room. "You know Argo and Phil will probably be coming over to check on you, at least I hope they are. You should get yourself showered up!"
"Diana?" He practically drug himself out of bed, managing to find his sleep bottoms and put them on before heading into the kitchen. He was a bit shocked to find her in the top to his PJ's that he wore, and making breakfast. That was something he normally did. "What are you doing?"
"Making us breakfast. What does it look like?" She turned back to grin at him. "Are you feeling any better?"
"Aye and nay." He admitted, his voice somewhat soft. "I just... I feel somewhat guilty I panicked so much, and that I was not such a gentlemen. I should have courted you properly before..."
"It's okay, really." She smiled back at him, putting some scrambled eggs on a plate for Dolemeck, and then herself. "Look, we both wanted some fun and there is nothing for you to feel guilty about. Nothing that happened between us was bad. It was... beautiful. You actually treated me like a queen!"
"Well, I desired for you to have as much enjoyment as I did." His voice remained somewhat soft. Despite her words, he still felt somewhat embarrassed over their tryst. Dolemeck had fainted and panicked twice that eve. Not only that, he was more high strung than usual. "Miss Diana, I am sorry I..."
"Stop right there." She pointed the spatula at Dolemeck with a grin. "There is nothing to be sorry for last night. We both had a wonderful time and you managed to get some sleep."
"How did you know I had not slept well in... "
"You were very high strung, had fainting spells from stress, and some severe anxiety." Dolemeck could only blink at her words as he took a seat by his plate of eggs. "Dolemeck, how long has this been going on?"
"Ever since I got my memories back." He placed his hands up when the spatula was pointed at him, getting a slight giggle from Diana. "Why do you ask?"
"Because I'm worried about you. I know we just met, but you seem like a wonderful person. Very loving, caring... Dolemeck, you should not be so worried or uptight! But you should also not be as care-free as Argo! He has... immunity to many things, where you do not. And I would hate for you to get hurt."
"I understand, Diana. Believe me, I understand my own mortality." He gave off a sigh as his hands went to rest in his lap. "It is just hard, sometimes. This world is so confusing and much larger than I remembered it. I have been seeing Dr. Samson for my time displacement, depression, stress, and some anxiety disorder."
"That's good you are seeing someone for those things." Diana smiled, placing a hand upon Dolemeck's shoulder. "Did he prescribe you anything?"
"Aye, he did. But I... umm... was too embarrassed to get the medicines he put on those special sheets of paper. I do not know how to get a prescription, nor do I want to worry my friends into thinking I am sick."
"There is nothing to be embarrassed about. Many people suffer from depression or have anxiety disorders." Dolemeck's eyes moved to look back at Diana as she reached over to stroke the side of his face. "You will worry your friends more if you do not take the medicine that Dr. Samson prescribed for you, however. After we meet with Argo and Phil, how about I take you to the Pharmacy and teach you how to get your prescriptions, hmm?"
"That sounds... quite kind of you. But why?" There was some confusion to his face as his own hand reached up to touch Diana's. "Why would you care or help me with such things? You just met me."
"Well, I like you, Dolemeck. You are a sweet man, and I would want you to get better so you can be happier. Plus I am a psychologist by trade, just like Dr. Samson. Only I am better looking."
That got a laugh from the cursed man. It was true, Diana was far better looking than Doctor Samson. And it was nice to have someone like him and not push him away or call him a freak.
"Alright. I would be most honored if you helped me with this... prescription thing. And perhaps afterwards we can go to lunch? That is, if you are not busy!"
"My schedule is quite open, today. So, yes. I would like to go have lunch with you and then we can get to know each other better."
"I would like that." Dolemeck smiled a bit more, finally taking Diana's hand away from his face, and placing a kiss on top of it. "Let me go shower and get ready for when Argo and Phil arrive. There is an extra shower in this room if you need to freshen up, mi'lady."
"No need, I already showered while you were still sleeping. I'll just go get dressed and greet our friends at the door if they show up before you are ready." There was a small giggle that Diana could not contain as Dolemeck kissed the back of her hand. She slipped her hand away from his and gave him a more passionate kiss in return. He came off as more than happy to return such a kiss before getting up and heading to the bathroom to go get ready. "Yep, he is totally a keeper. Flaws and all!"
